"Hello...? (y/n)? Earth to (y/n)!" Betty said waving her hand in front of your face.
"Yea what?!" You said a little annoyed.
"Were you even listening to me? Or were you to busy staring at Veronica?" She smirked.
You felt yourself blushing and silently hoped that Betty wouldn't notice.
"Oh you totally were!" Betty laughed.
You threw your hands up in defeat. "Okay fine I was! But I can't help it! She's just so... unique..." You trailed off as you watched Veronica laugh at what you assumed was a joke.
"Oh my god..." Betty said quietly. "You're in love with her!"
You blushed a deep crimson. "N-no, I am not." you whispered.
"Awe (y/n) it's okay if you are!" Betty said with a smile.
"Yea? You think?" you said meeting her eyes.
"Of course!" she said as she laughed once again giving you a wide smile.
You smiled back. Maybe it was okay after all.
