At age six, Willa Jepson was kidnapped from the same hotel room in Starling City after her parents were shot and killed. For years no one knew where to look for the young Jepson, so she was pronounced dead.
Willa's kidnappers were the merciful sort. They taught her martial arts and how to use daggers and a sword. She learned to defend herself against almost anything.
At age ten, Willa escaped from her kidnappers. With nowhere to go and nobody to turn to, Willa turns to what she knows best, defense. Instead of using her talents as a defense mechanism, she becomes a highly trained assassin.
When a job for thousands of dollars sends her to Starling City to kill Oliver Queen, she's arrested by Green Arrow and sent to Belle Reve.
