As I thrust my blade towards Ryzek's heart, he spun away, faster than I ever thought he could, and my blade hardly touched him.

"Do you really think you could've bested me by that sloppy move." He said sneering, "Maybe hanging around Akos has made you soft."

"Throw down your armor and lets see who the softer one is. Stop being a coward Ryzek." I'm surprised my voice stayed strong as I said that but my shadows were making me feel strong and confident.

"A coward? How am I the cowardly one here? I accepted this fight and I'm not the one who was too cowardly to tell everyone how mother really died." He spat.

He was twisting my actions to turn the people against me, "You know I didn't mean to kill mother and why are you stalling? This is supposed to be a fight, not a counsel session."

"Before you start throwing your sloppy moves at me again, I forgot to tell you the best part. Your 'friend' is actually watching us right now. Vas, bring him in."

My eyes widened in fear and shock as Vas dragged in Akos. Akos had a bruise forming on his left cheek and there was a black eye forming around his right eye. His arm looked like it was bent at an awkward angle and Vas kept pulling on it, making Akos wince. When Akos looked at me, I had to do everything in my power to keep myself from running to him. I was about to move towards him but I saw him shake his head a little.

"Let him go. This is between you and me."

"Oh, but Cyra, you must know by now that your actions affect him as well." Ryzek said with that evil grin.

"Let's get back to our fight shall we?" With that he swiftly ran toward me, blade stretched in front of him.

I tried to spin around but his blade grazed my left arm. I winced but let the pain go as I stabbed at his vulnerable spot just below his armor. He twisted away which kept the blade from hitting the aimed spot but it still cut a line in his arm. He yelled in anger and shock but turned towards me like a cat assessing his prey.
"Vas."

I slowly turned my head to see Vas plunge his dagger towards Akos.
