a ball of sunshine; always tries to see the brighter side of things. you may see him as naive and overly cheery, but he's actually more than that. because behind that bright and happy facade of his, is a person who has been hurt very deeply — a scar from the past that he could never forget.

"You know, this day feels weird, doesn't it?" Myungho's friend Seo Heonwoo asked.
The guy only shrugged. It did feel different, yet he only realized it after his friend spoke about it. But maybe he was just being paranoid?
"Uh, man, I should hurry. I have a match later today." Heonwoo exclaimed checking the time. "See you tomorrow?"
A loud noise of police sirens interrupted Myungho's thoughts and he lifted his head. His heart shook at the sight of police cars racing down the street. Someone must be in trouble. He tried to calm himself down. They must be helping someone.
"You okay?" Heonwoo questioned his friend one last time, but he just nodded.
"Yeah, I'm okay." Myungho assured. "I just got distracted for a moment." He smiled taking a step back. "See you tomorrow." The guys shook hands and like that they parted ways.
For whatever reason Choi Myungho couldn't help but feel anxious. It felt like someone was watching him and he couldn't explain it, but the sensation of adrenaline filled his body. The young mad suddenly gave his best to hurry back to his apartment with the sound of sirens leading his way.
He locked the doors and habitualy turned on the TV to somehow block the sounds from outside. Something was awfully wrong. Sirens shouldn't go this long. But they didn't stop. And it wasn't only police sirens anymore. It was the emergency alarm, loud and clear being heard in every part of the city.
"This is not a drill. We repeat. This is not a drill."
"Huh."
Myungho instantly turned to the TV only to see a neighbourhood store on the screen.
"Only 30 minutes after the purge has been announced, local citizen has abruptly killed a cashier in a nearby groccery store only hours before the actual purge law is to begin. The man has not yet been found."
"What?!"
"This is goverment speaking, from midnight all illegal actions, including murder, will be legal for 24 hours. This is not a drill. We repeat. This is not a drill."
"UGGGH." Myungho groaned grabbing on to his head. "Are we test animals or something?!" He shouted out of frustration.
Bang. Bang.
Myungho's eyes suddenly widened. It was sound of a gunshot. And it wasn't far away. Someone was coming. And a feeling was telling the guy, that that somone is coming for him.
Without much thinking Choi Myungho grabbed his half empty backpack. The young man quickly threw few boxes of cookies, his phone and a jacket in it and without even locking the door behind him, he ran with all his might.
He didn't think much of where to flee, but he knew that he must the get as far away from home as possible. He just had to.
im so sorry that it's been so long, i'll try to redeem myself ;-; i even unpublished the books from my main acc so that i could finish on what i started.
i will tho publish ONE book on my main acc, so please keep an eye on it ;)
anyways, i have finally chosen all characters for this a.f and im really excited about it! the ones who didn't got it, will most probably have minor roles if they are okay with it AND if someone from the main cast dies or decides to not read this story anymore, they will be replaced by them.

also, feel free to kick me or spam me whenever i don't update for like a month. im really okay with it. this month will be difficult, but then i'll be all yours after exams lol
as i mentioned before, the characters are put in order, so feel free to figure out why and maybe you can already find some links between characters ;)
