12th october 1998 (18), ¹⁵⁴ᶜᵐ ㅡworker of a honey factory
as the daughter of the city mayor, her family was really wealthy. adding the fact that her father took the people's money just to let his family live a luxury life, miyu's life was like living on cloud 9. before her father was locked up, she would always hear her mother sob silently at night. not knowing what to do, miyu pretended to be asleep.

Sirens and screams. That was what Miyu recalled the last before running in to the library. Once she closed the heavy door behind her, the noises seemed faint and distant. Just like a bad nightmare that still echoed in her mind.
The building was dark, since it was late evening already, so she naively searched for a light switch, which she did find.
Without thinking Miyu turned the lights on and looked around expecting for some kind of help. She realized that going outside wasn't the brightest idea, but staying in meant that she had to find something she could protect herself with.
The girl clunched her hands in the pockets of her pastel yellow hoody and cought unintentionally. Almost immediately Miyu heard loud and heavy thuds coming from upstairs and tears began to form in her eyes.
She quickly turned the lights off and hid under the table which stood right next to the enterance. The girl was tiny and she fit under it perfectly without much trying. Instinctively she pulled her knees to her chest and pressed her forehead to them. Tears streamed freely and quietly as the thuds were getting louder and louder. Miyu had barely any hope left.
It seemed as if just moments ago she was happily joking with her brother and enjoying her mother's embrace. She even recalled her father's warm and happy laughter as he sat his daughter on the swings. It was such a long time ago, yet Miyu remembered it so clearly.
Is it what they call 'your whole life flashing infront of your eyes'?
Suddenly the thuds became softer. Miyu relaxed and lifted her head up. She could barely see if anyone was there, but within seconds it got quiet and the girl decided to come out.
She slowly crawled out and stood up in dead silence. Because of the lights in the streets coming through the windows, the scene was visible just enough once her eyes adjusted to it.
Miyu looked around and saw nothing. Maybe it was just fear playing with her mind. Nevertheless she turned around and then completely froze.
A man with a bat, which might have been an axe, stood few meters away from her and stared right in to her eyes.
Fear completly took over Miyu's body and she was unable to move at all as the man took a step closer. The girl still didn't even blink as light gently fell on her face revealing a terrified and lost expression.
The man suddenly stopped and slightly opened his mouth as if he was about to say something, but for whatever reason he turned away and quickly escaped Miyu's sight.
The girl was left without an idea what to do next as she ran off to find another place to hide.
