Cam and I are in his car on our way to see my brother. There was silence the only thing that wasn't silent was the radio softly playing songs.
"So, how old is Zach?" Cam asked
"He is 9 years old." I said looking outside the window
"You're beautiful." Cam said
"Thanks for the compliments but we can't date. I am sorry." I said sadly
"I know but I can't help it." Cam said
"I will make a deal with you. Okay?" I said
"Okay, What is this 'deal'?" Cam asked laughing
"Ok, stop the car please?" I said
"Ok.." Cam said pulling the car over to the side of the road
"I...like...you...." I said stuttering
"You do! I do too!" Cam said excitedly
"Okay, the deal is we will kiss right now and if we feel something then..Will you wait for me??" I said
"Are you sure?" Cam said
"Yes." I said unbuckling my seat belt and facing him as he parked the car and unbuckled his seat belt.
As the music is playing From the Ground Up by Dan and Shay. We stared at each others eyes. Cam started to lean in and so did I. Our lips finally connected and I felt butterflies in my stomach as we move in sync. I didn't want it to end, but it had to. I pulled back smiling,
"Amazing." We said in sync and started laughing
"I will wait for you." Cam said smiling while getting his seat belt on.
"Really!" I said putting my seat belt on
As we continue our journey to the hospital to go see my brother Cam held my hand and I liked it a lot. We finally pull into the parking area and parked. We got out of the car and went it to the hospital and went into the hospital room.
"Hey, Zach. Miss me?" I asked Zach while opening the door
"Riley!!!You're back!!" Zach said
"I am back and I have someone you would love to meet." I said walking in with Cam into the room
"Hey, How are you?" Cam asked
"Well, I am good but bored." Zach said
"Well, we are here." Cam said
"Hey!!Do you know how to play Candy Land?" Zach asked Cam while Cam sat down next to Zach's bed
"Yeah, Do you want to play?" Cam asked Zach
As I was just listening to them play the board game. I was falling in love with Cameron.
