I didn't know what to do. Aaron is crying because of what happened with his step dad. So I did what I knew what was best.
"I know we just met but do you mind if I hug you?" I asked him, he just grabbed me and hugged me.
I tried comforting him "Shh, it is going to be fine." I said to him while he still was hugging me.
"Aaron??" A lady said
"Umm he is kinda upset." I said because Aaron was busy sobbing
"I know, it is hard for you baby but you can't help what happened with your step dad." The lady said
"Baby??" I said with a eyebrow up. Aaron started to laugh.
"What's so funny?" I said looking at him
"Riley, this is my mother, Becky." Aaron said
"Hi, it is very nice to meet you. Becky" I said with my hand out to shake. She ignored my hand and hugged me.
"It is nice to meet you too. Riley. Thank you for being there for my son." Becky said nicely
"I was just here in the right time."
"Miss Brown??" A nurse said
"Yeah, that's me." I said politely
"Your brother is ready for visitors now." The nurse said
"Okay. Thank you." I said
I was getting up and Aaron grabbed my arm. "Will I ever get to see you again?" He asked
"Yeah, here's my number. If you need someone to talk to just dial my number. I am a good listener." I said laughing
"Thanks. For everything." Aaron said
"Your welcome. You guys take it easy. Okay?" I said
"Thanks. Again" Aaron said
