I was walking to the room that Zach was in. The nurse said things like "Your brother did well." but all I was wanting to do is hug him.
"Is he awake?" I asked
"Yeah, he has been asking about you?" the nurse said while we walked in Zach's room
I ran to Zach's bed and hugged Zach "How are you?" I asked while fixing his hair.
"Yeah, Riley?" He said looking sad. "I am going to let you visit. Ok?" I nodded my head 'yes'
"Riley, Where is Mommy?" he asked
"I don't know, I think she is on her way." I lied for his own good.
"Why? Do we call her Mommy?" Zach asked
"Because we were inside her tummy one time." I said
"But she isn't here when we need her." He said I couldn't take it. I was balling my eyes out.
"Riley!!, What's wrong?" Zach said
"It is nothing." I said then we hear the door open wide and Mom running in.
"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?? ARE YOU OKAY?? ARE YOU BOTH OKAY??" Mom yelled
"Mommy, I got a lollipop!" Zach said I laughed because he is super adorable.
"What are you laughing about?? Your brother and had a heart attack." Mom said
"Mom, Can I talk to you?" I asked my mother
"Fine, Whatever." Mom said we walked out of the room.
"Why are you yelling at Zach?" I asked
"Because I wanted to see if he is okay?" she said
"Well, he is. Don't you think there is other patients in the hospital?" I said
"I don't care. That is my little boy in there and you probably didn't do anything to help him." Mom said
"Excuse me?? Ma'am?? You need to stop talking loud please." A nurse said
"Sorry, my mom is upset." I said
"Well, you have to be happy that your daughter knew C.P.R. because that was the only thing to make him could of come back to life." the nurse said smiling "We sure are." she included
"I am." Mom said looking at me shocked.
"Yeah, we learned it in first aid class." I said
"Why, did you not tell me?" Mom said
"Because you would be on the phone or working." I said
"Ohh, Honey. I promise that I will always listen." Mom said hugging me
"You said that last time."I said snappy while I ripped my body away from her.
