Chapter 21

Shawn pov
"Find out where they are! I haven't been able to reach her for a month already!" I yelled.
After listening to me yelling,
All of my assistant rush out of my office to get back to work.
Deborah and David has been hiding for a month now.
I do not know what happen after that guard was killed. It was of course a warning for David.
He then took Deborah into hiding.
I have been trying to look for them but I have no trace.
It's either people don't want to tell me, or he is hiding somewhere far.
Her parents haven't heard from her either which is very odd.
David has probably force her to go with him and he is probably locking her up.
It's crazy how this man is obsessed with her.
I mean I love her too, but she has a life to live.
He killed my friend and now he is trying to ruin another of my friend life.
I do not wish to mess with a mafia but David is leaving me no choice.

Deborah pov
The sunshine through the balcony window, waking me up.
I open my eyes and the first thing that I saw is my husband.
He is indeed very handsome, even though his hair is in a mess.
David's hand grip on my waist as I play with his hair.
"David, it's time to wake up" I whisper.
He slowly shook his head and bring our bare body closer to each other.
"Just go back to sleep" he whispers and kiss my forehead.
I roll my eyes, and manage to get out of his tight grip.
I went in the restroom and got clean up.
As I was washing my face, I started to get a huge pound in my head.
I saw rain, trees, and some black cars chasing us in the back.
"Ahh!!" I scream as the pain grew stronger.
"Deborah!!!" David shouts as he barge in the restroom.
I cover my ears as I heard gun shooting and screams.
"What's wrong!" I can hear David shout.
In a second, I saw black dots and darkness consume me.

Mom? Mommy? Mom
I kept hearing a little boy calling my name, but I don't know where it's coming from.
"Deborah" I heard David's deep voice filled with worries as I open my eyes.
"Hi" I manage to mumble.
He let out relief sigh as soon  as he heard my voice.
"She's all fine, she just needs some rest" the doctor said after he checked my body temperature.
I slowly close my eyes since I'm so exhausted.
I do not know what had happen.
I must have been regaining my memories, but why are they so scary?
I don't want that kind of memories to exist but it seems like there is no use.
Raindrop, black car, crash.
That was all I can remember.
I wonder if it has something to do with the accident.
"David, how did I lose my memories?" I asked and open my eyes to see him looking kind of nervous.
He looks somewhat scare to tell me what happened.
"I cannot tell you that" he said.
"Why not? I'm going to remember it anyway, just tell me" I said.
He shook his head and stand up.
"I can't tell you, you'll know when your memories come back" he said.
"But I want to know now!" I yelled.
He didn't look please that I just yelled at him because his fist started to harden.
"Don't speak to me that way" he said more like demanding.
"I can speak to you however I want" I said and turn so I wasn't facing him.
I close my eyes and pretend to fall asleep.
I heard him let out a loud sigh before walking out.

Ughh why won't he tell me?
I got out of bed and change into a black pair of adidas sweat pant, and a pair of black sweater.
I grab a black Nike cap, and a pair of Nike running shoe.
I just want to go outside.
It's only like 4 in the afternoon and for some reason the sun is setting already.
I walk over to the balcony and climb on the tree branch that was hanging there.
There was guards down there so I tried not to drop or some any noise.
I climb down the tree and tip toe to the fence.
It is really tall, but a gardener left a rope on the grass so I decided to use it to climb the fence.

Finally after 8 minutes, I am on the other side.
Even though I don't remember anything, I do remember things like this.
Maybe I was an athlete in school.
I walk down the forest to get to the city.
I can't let David or his man see me.
They'll probably see me if I walk on the dirt road so, I'll just walking into the forest.

Shawn pov
"Spain? Barcelona?" I asked.
"Yes, they're there" my assistant said and I nodded.
"Take me there right now" I demanded and got up to go to my helicopter.

Deborah pov
I do not know how long I have been walking because it's dark now.
The only light that I can see is the moonlight.
Right my phone I brought it.
I grab my phone out of my sweater pocket and turn on the flashlight, that'll do.
I hum as I walk, until I heard some footsteps.
"Who's there?" I asked as I flash the light around.
Probably some animal or something.
I kept on walking nervously, until a pair of blue eyes caught mine.
I flash the light that way and it shows a wolf.
The wolf came closer and closer to me.
It's sharp teeth looks ready to eat me.
I step back as it comes closer to me.
My brain tells me to stand still and not move but I want to run.
I am shaking and scare to death.
I need to run.
In a second, I caught myself running.
The wolf is chasing me behind, ready to eat me but I just kept on running.
I would trip over some rocks but I would stand right back up and continue to run.
"Help!!!" I scream.
What am I thinking? No one will hear me.
I kept running and running until I reach a hill and I felt myself rolling down.

David pov
"I cannot call her! Why isn't she picking up!!" I yelled and throw my phone at the wall.
"We will locate her phone sir" John said.
"That girl doesn't know how to listen. It's very dangerous out in the wood. Where does she think she is going!" I yelled.
"Sir we have locate her phone, shes in the forest" John said and I immediately ran out of the room.
Nothing should happen to her, I do not want to lose her.
I almost lost her once, not this again.

Deborah pov
It's cold. Rainy, dark, car crash.
That's it, car crash because David was trying to get our home.
He wants to move away to escape, to protect me.
Omg, our baby. No, it can't be.
I open my eyes and tears roll down.
I remember, I remember.
"She's awake" the doctor said.
He must be annoyed that I keep causing trouble.
"Deborah, why did you go out alone in the dark?" David asked more like yelling but I'm injured so he can't really be that mad.
I just looked at him angrily and he knows that something is up, because he told everyone to leave us.
"Deborah honey, you could have die" he said as he grabs my hand.
"I wish I had, what's the point of living anyway?" I asked.
His jaw clenched tightly as he looks down at me.
"Why would you say such a thing?" He asked angrily.
"You should know the damn reason, besides, I would be able to see my baby" I said.
His eye widen when I said that.
"You remember" he whisper.
I nodded and tears started to roll down.
The baby die because of him.
If he wouldn't have force me to be in that car with him then none of this would happen.
"I'm sorry" he mumbles and wipe my tears away.
"I want to go home" I cried. "I want to go back to the way I use to live. My parents, my sisters, my friends, and no you! My life was all perfect until you came in. I hate you, I don't and will never love you. I want to go home!" I yelled.
His eyes look into my soaked eyes.
He was also in pain, in pain that I am in pain.
But what else should I be in, joy?
My life isn't how it is suppose to be right now.
I just want everything to be back to normal again.

David pov
I sat on my chair not knowing what to do.
Deborah remembers everything now. She is in pain because of the baby.
I am too but she is more.
I accept it along ago that I ruined her life but I thought that she would fall in love with me in the future.
It seems like I am wrong, I am only doing worse.
Besides, I am a monster.
"Sir we have a problem, Shawn is here. He found out where you're" My guard said and before I can say anything, Shawn came barging in.
"Where is Deborah?" He asked angrily.
"That's none of your business" I said.
Shawn came up to me and grab me by the collar.
"I need to see her" he said more like demanding.
"Boy, I suggest you get out before I kill you" I threaten but that didn't get to him.
"I'm not going anywhere until you take me to Deborah" he said.
"Like I said she is safe" I said and he punch me.
This rascal needs some beating.
"Deborah doesn't need a man like you, she hates you" he said.
I just listen carefully because it is true.
"You should let her go, she will be better off without you. Do you think a innocent person like her needs a mafia like you? No! she is young, she needs to live her life and you should let her go. She doesn't need you" Shawn said.
I look at him. He does make her happy, so should I let her go? This is for the best.
"Take her out of my sight"
