6-Welcome Back

I groaned as I started to get feeling back in my body I could feel a rigid solid surface caressing my back as the lower half of my body was pressed against a smooth solid surface. I turned my head to have my face press into something cold, wet, and damp. I wasn't sure what had happened but I know that I had to get out of this pack house before Damien could find me. Then suddenly something warm started to caress my chin before slowly getting tighter until the warmth had fully gripped my chin.

I winced then with a small gasp everything started to that had happened earlier crashed down on me,

John.

Wolves.

Betrayal.

Damien.

No.

My eyes snapped opened as I straightened up only to wince at the quick sharp pain that shot up my spine and lingered. My view was blocked by a familiar pair of eyes I felt mine narrow as I stared at the person who had betrayed his pack without a single ounce of hesitation. I shoved him away from me but as I did one of my arms was abruptly pulled back. I turned my head behind me to see that my right hand was chained to the rocky damp wall by my wrist and the chains only allowed me to stray away a limited distance.

I looked back at my new enemy before looking around us I knew I was in the prison cell and with what little light that came from the moon that had seeped through the cracks in the walls, I realized this was the same cell I was trapped in before. I noticed Chris wasn't the only one in my cell I saw John leaning against the far wall taking me in. I ground my teeth together as I stumbled to my feet only to sway and lean against the wall before I could fall.

I glared up at John and Chris to find them smirking and all I wanted to do was slap those smirks off their faces. My gaze snapped to Chris as anger started to rise "You lying bastard" I sneered at him as I started towards him but I was stopped by my stupid chain again. He chuckled knowing I couldn't get any closer I watched as Chris stepped closer so now he was only footsteps away. "Why, thank you" he grinned and before I could think, I spat in his face. He recoiled back in response as he wipe my saliva away and glared at me "Why?" I demanded he only shrugged ignoring my question.

I moved my gaze to John to find him moving closer as well "I should kill you." I murmured glaring at his now smirking face. "Well what's stopping you?" he teased as I furiously yanked at the chain on my wrist with my free hand I had managed to grip John by his collar and dragged him closer. "Just you wait, you're going to get what you deserve." I said lowly soon John was out my grip and my free hand was jerked behind me painfully I shouted in pain as I turned my head to see Chris cuffing my free hand.

"Stop!" I demanded as I tried to turn to face him but he kept me from doing so I started to tug my hands away from him but he only pulled harder causing me to fall back against the wall. "Annabel," a all too familiar voice cooed as my body froze in response. Once Chris finished chaining both my wrists he moved causing me to stumble to regain my balance. I looked up to be met by golden orbs that I hated so much his scar was now barely noticeable again but his eyes still shone in anger but he still seemed calm as he stared at me.

"Damien." I greeted coldly "Nice to finally have you back." he stated I rolled my eyes as I started to move towards him, well as far as the chains allowed me. Then a slight smirk started to spread across my lips as a thought occurred to me. I looked up from my chains to Damien who's gaze narrowed on me suspiciously. "Why is it that I'm in chains again?" I asked almost teasingly it has been years since I had been down here. Damien simply shrugged "Precautions." was all he said and I nearly laughed "Is that really it, or are you just scared?" I teased with a grin.

Damien growled as he suddenly shoved me back into the wall roughly his fangs were exposed as he growled again. I found myself pushing myself further into the wall "I'm not afraid of some weak little girl." he sneered at me, my eyes narrowed at him.

Well I wasn't so weak and little with that knife, now was I?

I was suddenly on the ground with a sting on the side of my face I winced as I looked up to find Damien holding a knife in his hand that was dripping with bright crimson. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion until I felt thick liquid running down my chin. I brought my hand up to my cheek to confirm that he did return the favor with that knife I gulped when I realized I had said that out loud. "My patience is running thin Annabel." he warned lowly I found myself flinching when he brought the knife up again but it never came down against my skin.

After what seemed to be minutes I had finally looked up to find a man with blue eyes and familiar short brown hair. He was holding Damien's arm and to my disbelief Damien ripped his arm away from him and walked out the room with John and Chris following him. But Damien stopped at the door way to turn and looked at me "Welcome back Annabel." he said with a slight smirk. I stared up at the stranger as he moved towards me I sat up quickly and leaned against the wall as he was only footsteps away and moved so now we were eyes level.

There was something about him but I just couldn't figure it out I watched as the stranger grinned as he took me in. He tilted his head to the side and cocked a dark eyebrow at me "Now, now Annabel don't tell me you don't remember me it's only been a year." the man teased. I noticed the way his blue eyes sparked with playfulness and I found a smirk spreading across my lips. "Mike?" I said in disbelief he gave me a full blow smile as he chuckled "Took you long enough Annie!" he exclaimed I shook my head as he pulled me into an awkward embrace because of the chains.

"For the record, its been two years since I've seen you." I corrected as he pulled back "Where have you been?" I questioned as I looked at him. He watched me for a few minutes before he finally spoke "I was...with my sister-"

"Don't lie." I cut him off as I stared up at him "I'm not." he said calmly but I knew he was I glared at him knowing he won't tell because it has something to do with Damien.

"Look, I can't tell you...you know why" he stated as I rolled my eyes I watched as Mike then moved to stand at his full height. I frowned as I saw him move for the door he stopped and looked over to me "Sorry I can't stay longer, I wish you weren't here" he said softly before leaving. The door slamming shut and the sound of the lock sliding home were the only sounds echoing in the cell besides my heartbeat.
