"Finally!" I exclaim as soon as we step out of the building. He laughs. "We're free!"
"Only for two months." He states.
I pout. "Party pooper." He laughs again.
"So what do you want to do this summer?" He asks. "Apart from making-out." He adds on. I giggle and blush.
"As long as I'm with you, I don't care what I do." I say. He smiles that toothy smile that melts my insides.
"Me too." He says.
"Good." I say. "Now come on, I want to get out of this place." I grab his hand and tug. We walk hand-in-hand to his car in a comfortable silence. He revs the car to life and puts the radio on. Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars is playing.
"Oh I love this song!" I exclaim and begin singing along. He chuckles and drives out of the parking lot. At home we dump our bags in the foyer and head out to the backyard to our favorite spot; the old oak tree.
"Come here..." He places a hand on my hips and pulls me to him. "I've been wanting to kiss you all day." I smile and lean in. He kisses me tenderly, sweetly and I instantly kiss him back. For the next few moments I become completely lost in him and his delicious lips. "I love you..." He murmurs. I spring away from him.
"What?" I croak out.
"I love you." He repeats. I gawk at him in shock. "I love you Ella. More than anything in this entire world."
"You've never..." I stammer.
He smiles and blushes. "I know."
"Are you serious?" I exclaim.
"Very." He says.
"You really..." He nods. A goofy smile forms on my face. I squeal and launch myself at him, kissing him fervently. "I love you too." I murmur against his lips. He smiles into the kiss and picks me up; he spins me around happily. "I love you Drew."
"Ellie."
"Hm?" I murmur.
"Ellie!"
I instantly snap out of my reverie. "What?"
"You zoned off." He says.
"Sorry." I say. "I was just..."
"Thinking about him?" He asks knowingly. I look down guiltily. "Hey it's okay."
"No it's not!" I exclaim. "Because I'm with you now."
"But you and I both know you still love him." He states.
"Being in this house brings back so much memories and I just..." I sigh. "I can't help it!"
"I know." He says. "But like you said, you're with me now." He gently lifts my chin up so I can look at him. "And I'm going to do everything I possibly can to completely win your heart."
"You can start with this..." I whisper and lean in. He smiles.
"Ella!" Of course he's here. I sigh and pull away. Logan sighs frustratedly and straightens up. "Am I interrupting something?" He asks innocently. Innocent, my ass.
"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." I mutter.
"You were talking about me?" He asks amusedly.
