Chapter 4

School has always been hell. But then again, I am a teenager. When has school ever been something enjoyable?

As I'm making my way towards my locker, I feel someone tug on my arm and pull me into a empty classroom. Seriously, how cliche could that get.

Turning around to see who my abductor is, my heart stops. The one person I've been trying to avoid is right in front of me. Wait, what is he even doing here? My own personal stalker ladies and gents. How honored I should feel.

"You know, I was wondering if I'd see you again. Its been weeks and you just disappeared. I was worried but I had no way of actually contacting you."

"What are you doing here Phoenix? You don't even go here."

"Actually, I've been attending this very school since I was a freshman. I'd say that it's you, Jezebel that doesn't go here but you started attending my sophomore year. So both of our statements seem to be false accusations." There's no way this guy is telling me the truth. The three years I've been here, I've never seen him. Ever. And you don't just not recognize a face like that.

"If what you're saying is true then how have I never, and I stress never, seen you around before?"

"Well if you really must know little Jezzy, most people don't usually see the ones that don't always stand out. I've been in the shadows and you've been your little bubble that consist of your best friends and you brother and his friends. We've walked past each other in the halls plenty of times in the past three years but you never seemed to notice. Hell, we even had a class together last year." The bell rings and I instantly know that I'm going to be late to class. Great, there goes my perfect attendance.

"Look, I'd really love to finish this conversation, but I seriously need to go to my locker before I'm any later to class," I start to walk away and he pulls me back.

"At least agree to finishing this talk later." I hesitate for a while before I nod. This boy is something else.

So it's been about a month and it's a short chapter but there is more to come. Just bare with me guys.
