The ship was resting peacefully on the surface. The serenity of the calm ocean breeze blew through the crew's quarters. One sailor flopped to the soaked ground, amongst the debris. "The sun... I can see the sun! Perhaps there is hope after all," he whimpered. The disabled ship floated gently as the familiar smell of rain slowly drifted away. Three hurricanes has passed over the ship as it made its way across the Atlantic. This strange event had broken many, and killed many, but the crew of this ship had survived. The sky remained darkened by clouds, but the sun was clearly visible. In the distance there was a boom, and the sky flashed. The crew fell to their knees, praying and begging God to divert this storm. However this was different, a cluster of dark clouds began moving very fast, and in unison. They moved effortlessly and quickly to the West, yet seemed to be descending. The cluster was colossal, surpassing even the massive swirling clouds of the hurricane the night before.
The man shuffled carefully through the flooded streets of DC. He had taken shelter in the storm closet of his work place. For three days he coward, as the massive hurricanes destroyed the city, but now he was free. He was so hungry and thirsty. He had even succumbed and gulped furiously at the waters drowning the streets when he emerged from his haven. The water was up to his waist, and was quite hard to move in. However he pressed on through the ravaged city toward his family home. He arrived to see utter devastation. The entire neighborhood, entirely swept away by the waters and raging storms. The man collapsed to his knees, then looked up to curse the heavens, but was left in awe by the sight. The dark clouds still silently swirling above, with flashes of lights amongst them. From within the eye of the swirling clouds, emerged yet another large, dark cloud. It was huge, and moving steadily downward. Bright blue lights flashes spastically throughout the cloud as it made its decent.
Thousands gathered Times Square, watching as the flood waters were pushed back in a perfect circle. The circle grow as a massive cloud with flashing lights within it descended above it. The cloud steadily descended until it hovered exactly three feet above the ground. The crowd stared terrified at the massive cloud, with the flood waters held in place in a circle around it. Suddenly four long metallic legs left the bottom of the cloud and let it come to a peaceful rest on the ground.
The massive cloud now sitting peacefully in the middle of London began to dissipate, revealing a colossal ship with rows of lights along the belly.
The giant ship sitting peacefully in the outskirts of Tokyo, began emitting a strange humming noise. A large ramp breached from the frontal bottom and descended to the ground. Three tall, hooded figures walked in unison down the ramp, "People of Tokyo..."
"People of Washington D.C...."
"People of London..."
"People of Paris..."
"People of Stockholm..."
"People of Mexico City..."
"People of Cape Town..."
"... You no longer rule this planet,"
