The attack on DC could not be repelled. The attack on London could not be repelled. The attacks on Stockholm, Tokyo, Bangkok, Sydney, Cape Town, Mexico City, and Copenhagen could not repelled. But the mother ship landed in Berlin. Captured speakers gave intel hinting to this being the next location to face the wrath of Läkvör, so HAAR set multiple ambushes in major choke points throughout the city, and prepared several fighters to perform aerial attacks on the alien extermination squads that had killed so many in the rest of the capitals. No attempt to cause harm to the mothership directly had come to fruition so far, the advanced forcefield was far too powerful to be bested by any human weaponry, even that which had been reverse engineered from the downed alien ships. As expected, the mothership descended into the core of the city. Several HAAR snipers watched from the roof tops as Läkvör descended to the street. He floated to the edge of the forcefield and carefully looked around at the deserted streets. Läkvör turned his head to the opening ramp then look back out to the street, and stepped out of the forcefield.
One of the snipers whispered, "I have a shot of the alien bastard," into his radio.
"Fire,"
The sniper bulled the trigger, and Läkvör immediately raised his hand. The bullet stopped in its tracks, then dropped to the ground. He then motioned his hand down, and the sniper's head slammed down against the roof, and he fell off the building. The other snipers opened fire, but Läkvör warped back and forth to dodge the bullets. Another speaker teleported behind one if the snipers, and killed him with a sword, then teleported to the next, and the next. He made it to the last sniper, who was prepared. When the speaker with the sword appeared in front of him, the sniper stabbed him with a knife, and tossed him off the building. The sniper was then shot and killed by a gray. The small alien army then began marching through the city, straight into a large ambush. The HAAR operatives encircled and surrounded the aliens first, then began firing with advanced weaponry, annihilating many in the army. Läkvör was throwing HAAR operatives with his strange telekinetic abilities, and a young woman charged from his back and tackled him, then injected him with a large pressurized needle. Läkvör stood up amongst his defeated army, and pointed at the girl, then flicked left. She did not move. He looked around, and attempted to throw a few others. He could not. He clapped slowly, until a soldier knocked him unconscious.Another, massive army exited the mothership, and marched toward the battle site. A deep, melodic voice spoke is an ominous, yet somehow calming tone, "Release Läkvör, or your entire world will pay. Dearly." The HAAR operatives retreated to fighters with Läkvör, and escaped the massive force.
"How did you suppress my powers?" Läkvör questioned curiously from his heavily guarded cell.
"Well, we put brain scanners on captured speakers and forced them to use their abilities. We discovered which part of your brain does it, turns out it is a unique part meant specifically for controlling the power. Then, through avid experimenting, we created a narcotic that completely shuts down just that part. To be honest, we don't know anything about your powers at all. It seems impossible,"
Läkvör chuckled. "Horizon was right, you humans are persistent problem solvers,"
"Who is Horizon?"
Läkvör simply chuckled. The doctor sighed and asked, "Why are you here?"
"Conquest. Horizon wishes to expand his empire,"
"Why mot ask us to join?"
Läkvör did not answer. There was a deafening blast above them, and several alarms went off, then there was a powerful mechanical trumpeting that shook the entire bunker. Läkvör smiled and said, "He's here..."
