Every alien ship that was on Earth plus more floated above the HAAR headquarters. The mothership hovered high in the sky, barely visible. The doctor, Dr. Banson, looked at Lakvor and said, "How did they know we were here?"
"Horizon knows all. He always knew you were here, but you have provoked him,"
There was another mechanical trumpeting that shattered some glass of the headquarters. Lakvor said, "You really angred him. In all of the worlds we've visited, he has never revealed himself so early."
Lakvor suddenly appeared outside of his cell and put his hand on Banson's shoulder, "Shall we go witness his arrival? It will be glorious,"
Banson pulled a gun and shouted. Lakvor sighed, "Your drug, though impressive, wore offabout an hour ago. I could have killed you at any time. Besides, that bullet would never hit me, and I would then kill you. So, let's go witness Horizon."The two walked outside to witness ships firing into the city, and there was a purple flash in the sky. Immediately a hurricane cloud began to form. Banson looked at Läkvör and said, "Why the storms?"
"We have not figured out why our ships cause storms when entering your atmosphere. Most likely some sort of chemical reaction with our combusting fuel,"
Rathchild walked over and stood next to Läkvör, who in turn stated, "You aren't trying to kill me, Rathchild,"
"What's the point? You have obviously won. I have honor,"
Läkvör chuckled, "No, you have won,"
Rathchild was visibly confused, but remained silent. There was another mechanical trumpeting and the sky flashed purple, and a colossal circular ship descended. It was massive, filling almost the entire sky. Läkvör whispered, "It's Horizon,"
Banson spoke in awe, "It is colossal, it's gravity should be seriously affecting us,"
"Ha, we mastered gravity long ago."
Suddenly Läkvör disappeared, and a human fighter soon landed nearby. The pilot waved for Banson and Rathchild to get in. The pilot said, "My scanner sensed a docking bay in that huge spherical ship, let's sneak in and bring it down,"
Rathchild mumbled, "We'll surely die anyways,"
