Chapter 12, Ears

It had been a few months since the barrier was shattered. A week ago, (Y/n) told Napstablook how she felt. it was all cute and stuff. ... What? You want to know exactly what happened?.. Okay, fine.

You looked at yourself in the mirror. You were wearing a cute black dress (Or white if your favorite colour is black), your favorite (F/c) hoodie, long (F/c) socks and shoes that matched your dress.

Toriel and Mettaton helped you pick out the outfit. You were going on a hangout thing with Napstablook, and you were going to tell him how you felt. You just hoped he felt the same. Right now Mettaton was waiting outside your room waiting to "Escort" you to where you were going to meet Napstablook at Waterfall. Toriel was standing next to you.

"Are you sure you must wear that hoodie, my child?" "It goes with the outfit... And... I just don't want to mess everything up..." "I'm sure it will be okay." "I just... Better safe then sorry, I guess." "I understand. Well, you should go now. I hope it goes well." "Thanks, mum." (Or if it comes out of your mouth properly you can say mom. when I try and say it it sounds like Maohm.) You walk out.

"Hmm... I love your style! Its new, fresh and Fabulous!" "Thanks, Metta." "Come! You don't want to keep your date waiting~!" "This isn't a date. I'm not even sure if he likes me in that way." "Oh come on, it's obvious."

*Timeskip*

You see Napstablook sitting on the bench Mettaton picked out. He said he picked it because it had a romantic view. He looked like he was good with that stuff, so you trusted him. Napstablook was wearing his ghost top hat. "I'll leave you to it" Metta whispers as he walks off. You walk up to the bench awkwardly.  "...oh... hi..." "h-hi! Y-you look nice!" "... Thanks... you too.." You both blush slightly. You sit down on the bench"..so... uh... why did you bring me here...." "w-well uh... I mean... I um... I like you... like, like you... I mean... love like you... oh god... I understand if I mean lik-" "... i love like you too..." You both blush brightly. *Ghost smooch* Napstablook blushes even harder. "Eeee!" You hear a robotic squeal. You look over. It turns out by "I'll leave you to it" he meant "I'm going to stay here and watch you two be cute." "Oops..." "Get out! This is private!" "Eheh, Sorry!"

"Its kinda ruined now..." "...heh... yeah..." "... Lets just go home."

There you go. Anyways, back to right now. Alphys was with (Y/n), Undyne, Napstablook and Sans, watching anime. Specifically, Mew Mew Kissy Cutie. They were all sitting on a large couch. You were at the very left, sitting next to Napstablook. Next to him was Undyne, then Alphys, then on the very right was Sans. It was the season finale, and everyone was crying. Even Undyne.

The credits starting rolling. You were not expecting it to be so sad, then so happy. You weren't sure if they were sad or happy tears, but you didn't really care that much. "That was really good Alphys!" "I-I know! I just love the message and its so amazing and i just love it!" "I... I have to tell you something." "Y-yeah?" You sigh. You stand up in front of the couch. "Its... It's easier if I show you. Please don't hate me." You look down at the floor. You take off your hoodie.

"... I know... You-" "Oh. My. God." You look up. Everyone is staring at you. "What- how- when- THAT'S SO COOOOOL! Why didn't you show me earlier that's just like oh my god I get why you never took off your hoodie but like wow!" "Alphys is right. Why didn't you show us earlier?" "... I-I was scared you wouldn't like me and tease me like everyone else..." Alphys was too busy nerding out to talk. "We like you for who you are, punk! Some stupid ears aren't gonna change that! Well maybe except for Alphys. She'll probably like you more." Undyne chuckles. "... i'll always love you... no matter what happens..." *Ghost Smooch* You go bright (Red or S/c). Undyne looks at Napstablook and follows suit with Alphys. Her face is covered in bright red.

Sans teleported away at some point when you weren't looking. "... W-what n-now?" "Actually, Toriel asked me to help do some cooking. I should do that." "Can I come?" "U-Undyne, you don't really have the best reputation with c-cooking..." You giggle. "Well thats just because I was excited..." "As long as you don't burn the kitchen down, you can come."

Turns out Toriel invited Papyrus to cook aswell. When you got there, Undyne had the great suggestion of a pie competition. You set a 30 minute timer on your phone. "Three... Two... One... Go!" Toriel got out her homemade recipe book, and started cooking calmly. You started making your favorite type of pie, (F/p). You were going quite fast, but still making sure you were doing it properly. Undyne and Papyrus were cooking fiercely.

*30 minutes later...*

At the end of it, there were 3 pies. Looks like Undyne and Papyrus decided to work together. Toriel made a butterscotch-cinnamon pie, you made a (F/p), and Undyne and Pap made a... Spaghetti pie? Huh. "Hmm... we are going to need judges."
You called over Alphys, Napstablook and Sans to judge.
Everyone put on a blindfold, and tasted pies, then voted for their favorite. Because you were wearing blindfolds, you, Tori, Papy, and Undyne decided to judge as well.

The results were tallied, and you won at 3 points, and Toriel and Undyne/Papyrus tied at 2 points. This was all just for some fun though. And it was! The others congratulated you as you ate some of the remaining pie.
