HELLO EVERYONE! I feel an enthusiast writing urge and stopped everything I was doing to write. I was helping my mom make burschetta (SO GOOD YOU HAVE TO TRY) and  felt an urge to write and ran to get my computer... so here I am!

See you at the end of the chapter if I feel like talking XD,

Nayeli stood in shock for a few minutes. "Oh my spirits! How could I even miss that? I was so flustered by what he said; I did not even realize that his eyes were green! It is like something was controlling me to think that way, to ignore the fact that his eyes were not sky blue," Nayeli said, shocked.

"He must be crazy! Mad! Or was it something he ate? Is he turning into an animal? Was he cursed as a child and is slowly becoming a beast, like the fairytale, Chimala and the Beast?" Tamaya wondered.

"I do not know, but I am worried. Should we ask your grandmother, Mama Hopi? She is the medic and enchantress of our village, so she may have a potion or spell or book that can help us figure out what happened to Eugene and how we can cure him," Nayeli questioned.

"Definitely. Let us go," Tamaya agreed. The two young women ran to the medic hut.

"Mama Hopi? Mama Hopi? Mama Hopi? Are you in here?" Tamaya and Nayeli looked all over the hut.

"Mama Hopi probably is not helping the other women cook dinner because we still have time before we have to eat.. Maybe she is in Creepy Cave?" Tamaya suggested. Creepy Cave was the name Achak, Nayeli, Tamaya, Sayen, and the other kids named Mama Hopi's cave. It was originally named Conjurer's Cave, but the childrenhood title stuck.

"Mama Hopi!" Tamaya searched. "You will not believe what has happened! Eugene is innocent after all!" Suddenly the floor let out a cry, and the girls turned to see Mama Hopi had dropped the pot she was carrying.

"W-what do you mean? Um.. do not get me wrong, but what makes you think this?" Mama Hopi questioned as Nayeli cleaned the bubbly mess.

The corners of Tamaya's smile drooped as she revealed, "Someone else must have done something, for when Eugene admitted to the crimes, his were not blue but green! Therefore, he must have been enchanted by some sort of charm. Do you know of any spells that can cure this... or cause it? How about Eugene's orendian? What is it like?"

"I am sorry, Tamaya. I cannot picture Eugene's orendian for I do not know where he is," Mama Hopi apologized.

"Are you sure? Remember when seven-year-old Achak ran away because I broke his bow? And then you searched for his orendian  to find out where he was and if he was safe. I am sure you can do it now," Tamaya reminded.

Mama Hopi replied, "Moema, he is a family member. It is easier to search for those than others. I do not think I can do it-"

"-But Mama Hopi, you have done it with others too! Remember when the chief before Chief Beshkno was kidnapped, and you found him using his orendian? He was not family," Nayeli interuppted.

"Child, I am older and weaker now. It takes quite a lot of energy to search up for someone," Mama Hopi argued.

"Alright. But can you at least tell us of any spells that can cure or cause Eugene's state of health?" Tamaya responded.

Mama Hopi thought for a moment, then shook her head in concern and sternly said, "Someone has been messing with the ancient curses. Only someone with an evil mindset can accomplish something so great. Even our ancestors, from thousands of generations back, were not able to do this for they needed an evil mindset; great potentional, and a long background, and practice in witchcraft and witchery. Most of our ancestors were good people; or the evi ones did not have the other essential traits.

Honestly, it is impossible that someone cast this spell, that too in our village. You girls are foolish to think Eugene is under a curse. He must have some sort of eye sickness.. or maybe his eyes have that characteristic where they change colors. Or.. OH MY SPIRITS. I KNOW!" Mama Hopi sat down in shock.

"Moema...," she turned to look at Nayeli. "It is possible that the spirit of Hell sent Eugene. Nayeli, my child, you might have committed to a horrible deed in your past life, but still went to mistakeably went to Heaven. Maybe Hell's spirit was angry, and sent you one of his evil henchmen to make your life misearable. Oh, my poor, poor child. And moema, you do not even know of his past, his culture, his people... and he did  'randomly' wash up on our  island. Why not any other? And how would he have survived such a long distance from sea to shore? What and how would he eat? How would he drink fresh water? How is he still alive? He was clearly placed  here by the Hell spirit. In fact, coming from Hell, would explain the green flashes in his eyes and the whiteness of his skin-"

"Mama Hopi, I do know him," Nayeli snapped. "He told Tamaya and I both of his adventures back home, and his people seem so nice-"

"-That is what wants you to think, moema. How much of him can you trust?" Mama Hopi inquired.

"All of him. I trust every word that comes out of his mouth because he is my husband, my sweetheart, my everything. He is my pale faced lover and I believe him to be kindhearded and true. I would only love someone true at heart. Maybe that is why I do not love Achak."

Mama Hopi and Tamaya gasped. "Nayeli!" Tamaya screamed. "You do love Achak. But in a brotherly way.. you can not say you do not love him! Nobody is forcing you to marry anyone, Nayeli! We are only here to help! We understand you, and we understand how you feel towards Achak. Mama Hopi has convinced him to move on...and yet you, out of all people, are still stuck at the beginning? Is how you repay us? Me?"

"I know that you both believe that my husband should be Achak, if you are not saying it. The whole village thinks so! After all, he is your brother and Mama Hopi's grandson-"

Mama Hopi intervened, "-And you are Tamaya's soul sister and my goddaughter. Moema, Tamaya is right. We are only here to help you. I do understand how you feel, neglected by society, and were forced to marry someone you do not want to. Enough about the past. Enough about Achak. I do not know what is wrong with Eugene. I still believe he is from Hell but.." Mama Hopi saw the neglected look on Nayeli's face. "...But, there is still a possibility he is not. Even so, I advise you take a break from him. From your problems. Forget him for now, and calm down. Express your emotions by doing what you love the most. Make your beautiful cave art. Make your speciality, delicious desserts. Practice the bow and arrow. Do what you love, and what makes you happy. And Tamaya.. a word with you."

Tamaya nodded and ushered Nayeli outside. She soon joined Nayeli after a few minutes with a solemn face.

"What is wrong Tamaya? What did Mama Hopi say?" Nayeli questioned.

"I am so, so, sorry Nayeli," Tamaya uttered. "But I am no longer allowed to assist you in investigating Eugene's health."
