Tom reread the article on his macbook one last time, Harrison had sent it to him and he was currently as confused as Tom was as he read it.
He knew it didn't make sense and Audrey most likely gained a little weight which was something that shouldn't be worried about but the thought of it just made him convinced, he always wanted a family so this wasn't a bad thing to him, he shut his laptop and almost immediately Audrey called out from the kitchen or outside of their bedroom that their breakfast was ready, he always enjoyed her cooking- mostly because she was a much better cook then him.
Audrey set the plates down on the small table as Tom made his way down from the upstairs area of the loft as he grinned, the delicious scent of the food already hitting him as he sat down right in front of her and began to eat.
It was almost noon meaning this was almost, kind of already brunch to them and it was fine since they both woke up a little later then usual and it was a free day anyway.
Tom spoke up after swallowing his food, "Harrison sent me an earlier today" He said as he took another bite of his eggs and bacon as Audrey raised her brow.
"What's it about?" She asked him, in wonder of what article it could be that it was to be brought up.
"Your pregnant apparently" Tom immediately answered causing Audrey to almost choke on her food at the surprise, "I mean, it's nothing bad but I just thought to bring it up" He continued, "Would you ever want to start a family though?" He asked.
Audrey took her time to answer before speaking, "Would I ever?" She said in an almost nervous tone, "Guess it's too late now huh?" She let out a laugh, " I really am pregnant, to be honest" she said causing Tom to also almost choke on his food at the surprise before grinning.
"Really?" He asked with an exclaim. "Yeah, Doctors confirmed it last week and there are pregnancy tests to prove it!" She answered.
"How long?" He asked, "three months, most likely from our honeymoon" she lightly giggled.
"This is exciting!" He exclaimed, as he stopped eating his food. "Yeah, it is" she said, laughing right after. The couple ended up talking about it till they finished their meal with excitement and delight, mostly from Tom, in happiness at the fact he would be becoming a father.
