After the St Alga's break in the three of you were exhausted, however time stops for no one and because of the upcoming math's test you had no choice but to push through and study the dreadful subject. After 5 minutes of trying to study however you were already distracted with Marco's nachos.
"A little break won't hurt..."
You mumbled to yourself, walking towards the kitchen. Noticing the steamy bowl of hot fresh nachos and took a piece and munched on it satisfied on the loud crack coming from the chip.
"Aren't you suppose to be studying for the upcoming maths test ?"
You turned towards Marco who was looking displeased at you.
"Come on...A little break won't hurt Marco besides what's one nacho going to do ?"
Star soon came tumbling down after hearing about Marco's finished nachos.
"Woah you look like a wreck"
"Geez Thanks Star"
"No problem !"
You rolled your eyes and took another Nacho chip before looking at Marco.
"Wait a minute ! We're all taking the math test yet you're the one lecturing me about it ? What about Star ?!"
"One, I tried to but you know who stubborn she is. Two, your parents actually wants you to get good grades and lastly Star's parents don't really care"
"Touché"
You sighed and ate another chip, maths wasn't easy. While you excel in all the other subjects around you Maths wasn't just your thing. All the different equations for all the different questions was just too much. It was too flexible and not straight forward.
"Why don't you ask Tom ? He offered to tutor you after all"
You coughed loudly, choking on the chip you were munching on when Star mentioned about Tom.
"YOU WERE EAVESDROPPING ON US ?"
"No I was just curious"
"Same thing Star !"
You groaned, remembering the last time you saw him. After the whole blood moon ball incident the only thing you could think of was Tom and his too good looking smirk.
"I'm not taking this harassment, I'll be up in my room"
You stepped away from the two and walked back up to your room. You were lying down on your bed with your galaxy mirror phone on the palm of your hand. Siting up you took a deep breath.
"Call Tom"
The phone buzzed for a few seconds but it felt like a good seven years just passed by. Hearing the click of your phone you looked towards the screen and noticed the familiar three eyed demon.
"(Y/n) ?"
"Tom ! I-I just wanted to see if you were free at the moment..."
"Yeah I am...why ?"
You hesitated chewing on the bottom of your lip. Praying that he hadn't forget about his offer.
"Remember that time when you offered to tutor me for maths ? About a few days ago...? Can you come over ?"
You looked back at the screen only to notice your phone turning off. Meaning Tom must've cancelled the call. Embarrassed and frustrated you stuffed your face in your pillow and flung your phone angrily into the sheets. You asked him for a favour and he just closed the call like that ! How could he even-
"Uh...(Y/n) ?"
You shot up hearing Tom's voice, it was much clearer and...closer. You glanced towards the direction where you flung your phone but noticed Tom was there instead. Standing at the end of your bed looking at you in a confused matter. He wasn't wearing a suit like he normally does, in fact he was just wearing a simple velvet sweater and of black ripped jeans. You didn't want Tom to notice you staring so you turned away and decided to change the topic.
"H-How did you even come here ?"
"Well once you asked if I could tutor you I conjured a portal to appear here right away...are you alright ? I saw you screaming into your pillow...If you're busy I can go if you want me to-"
"No !"
You exclaimed causing Tom to stop mid way in his sentence since he wasn't expecting you to raise your voice so suddenly at that. Embarrassed, you cleared your throat and rephrased what you actually meant.
"U-Uh I mean...no...you can stay"
"Great ! So where do we begin ?"
