A/N: okay so hey I saw this on and lenvluthor and lesbianlena's blog on tumblr (and this story is also on my blog but i thought I'd just put it here too) and it was such a cute idea and so this happened. lol I'm sorry it was just so adorable! I had to try! I'm pretty sure there are other people who are better at this than I am but here it is :))
She's been pacing back and forth in front of L corp like a maniac trying to think of a plan to tell Lena how she actually feels. It's Valentine's day and it might be the cheesiest day to do this on but she thinks it's perfect.
it's been a few months since they've been "accidentally" going to the same restaurant, each of them trying to come up with an excuse like
"oh I just heard about this place and thought I'd visit"
"my friend recommended this place to me, she said their potstickers were amazing"
and just end up joining their table and enjoying each other's company.
and they've also been coming up with an excuse to see each other at work, whether it's
"a new article I've been working on about one of the most powerful women in National City today" or "I just thought I'd bring these flowers, I'm hoping you could give them to Supergirl for me as a thank you for once again saving the day"
they've also been texting each other a lot which leaves Kara a red cheeked mess whenever she checks her phone and she sees Lena's name.
but they haven't really talked about it and she doubts that Lena actually likes her the way she does but how will she truly be sure if she doesn't stop pacing and just talk to her already?!
but no, she thinks, maybe it's too soon. maybe she should just try to get Lena to tell her if she likes her back accidentally, or to someone else who's close to her.
but how will she be able to pull that off? who can be her inconspicuous wingman? someone who she can count on and who Lena won't suspect? she sighs as she stops in front of the glass doors, looking up at the tall building that's in front her, nose scrunching a bit and brows furrowed.
she saw the balcony where Supergirl and Lena spent sometime talking together, just looking up at the stars and talking the night away.
she smiled at the thought, then it hit her. her blue eyes widening as her face breaks into an ear splitting grin,
"duh, Supergirl!"
as she runs off thinking how this is such a good idea.
