Chapter 3
All day the next day, Niall would glare at me.
Yeah I was already done with my bath by the time he was done talking to Ian.
Ian thought it was funny. So did I but, Niall just pouted all day long.
We were eating dinner when the worse happened.
A group of men barged into the dining room.
The men wasted no time and grabbed me putting a knife at my throat. Niall immediately called the guards.
"Any last words to your lovely wife before we kill her?" One of the men asked Niall. "Let her go" Niall growled. "How about no softy" the man taunted Niall. Ian tried to walk closer to me but one of the men pointed a gun at him. "Don't take another step unless you want your mother dead" the man warned Ian.
"Ian go see what's taking the guards so long" Niall ordered Ian.
Ian runs out of the room.
"Now let go of my wife!" Niall yelled at the men. "I don't think so" the man smirks as he slits my throat and let's me fall to the floor.
Niall rushes over to me.
"Emma? Emma don't leave me, I love you" Niall pleads as the men leave the room and I fall into darkness.
Niall's POV
How could I let this happen? How could I let my guard down?
She's gone. Emma is gone! I held her in my arms until Ian came back with the guards behind him. Ian stopped when he finally took in the scene. He rushed over and fell to his knees beside his mother.
"What happened?" He asked with tears falling down his cheeks. "T-they killed h-her" I cried as I held my wife closer to me.
"It's all my fault. All my fault. My fault. I did this" I cried over and over again.
"It's not your fault father. It's not your fault" Ian told me over and over.
