Part 1

She had just finished eating breakfast when she hears a knock on her room door she goes and answers it to see a guy holding a huge basket of red roses he asks her if she is CeCe Benetti and when she tells him yes he asks her to sign for the flowers which she does and he refuses the tip she offers saying it had been taken care of as he hands her the flowers and says have a nice day.

She puts the flowers down on the coffee table and takes the small white envelope that is tucked into them and opens it to read:

I'm sorry i've done everything wrong with you. Well almost everything. Please forgive me and talk to me, Bruno xxx

She doesn't know what to think she missed Bruno and it had been hard to ignore him when he had tried so much to talk to her but the feelings she thought she was getting for him when she ended things between them she had actually caught she had been ignoring him to protect herself.

She read the note again and sighed then looked at her watch she needed to get going she put on her jacket and grabbed her laptop and checked that her wallet and cell phone was in her camera bag before slipping the strap onto her shoulder.

She had just opened her room door when she sees Bruno with his fist raised and steps back shocked to see him.

Can I come in he asks her.

I'm sorry but i'm on my way to a shoot I have to go she tells him and steps forward as he steps back and closes her room door and starts to walk to the elevator he walks with her and asks will you have lunch with me.

I don't know if i'll be stopping for lunch she tells him as she calls for the elevator he then asks her to have dinner with him.

She looks at him and tells him I don't think that would be a good idea and as she gets on the elevator she tells him thanks for the flowers they're lovely.

As the elevator doors are closing he jumps onto the elevator with her and says I meant what the card with the flowers said have dinner with me tonight and lets talk and if you want nothing to do with me afterwards i'll leave you alone.

What is there to say Bruno she asks him and he replies a lot i've had time to think and I know I screwed up big time with you c'mon you have to eat.

She takes a deep breath and as the elevator doors opens she tells him ok i'll have dinner with you just text me when and where and i'll meet you there he shakes his head at her as he follows her off the elevator and tells her no i'll come to your hotel room and get you at 7pm.

Ok fine she replies and walks away from him out of the hotel and gets into a cab.

For the rest of the day she was filled with mixed emotions about having dinner with Bruno that night but mostly she couldn't get past the shock that he had come to NYC to see her.
