You have got to be kidding me

I walked through the streets of New York before slipping into an abandoned ally-way to change into my costume. (above) Yeah I'm a vigilante, I go by the name Flame I guess, that's what the papers called me, and it kinda stuck. It was better then what people use to call me, red blood. God I hated that name. I shook my head to clear my mind. It wasn't time to think about that right now. New York needed Flame. "Ahhhhhhh!!!!" I covered my ears as a loud scream pierced the air,did I mention I have super hearing? I really need to figure out how to control it...  right scream, danger, got to help. I leaped down into the ally-way and landed in front of two this with guns and a cowering woman behind me. "Hey look Jim... It's a coseplayer!" Jim I guess looked at his friend and was like "Dude wasn't she in the newspaper the other day or something?" I smirked before launching at the two thugs. I knocked the guns out of their hands and proced to knock them out. When I was done I turned to the girl,"Call the police" I turned to leave when the girl stopped me, " So are you like spiderman or something? " I snorted, " yeah something like that" I ran into the shadows and climbed back onto the roof top to find the next crime.

It was around five a.m (I don't get much sleep,o.k?) And I has just  finished beating up some criminals(no worry, they where o.k. minus a few burn marks) when I got a call from Fury. After debating whether or not to pick it up, I finally sucked it up and picked it "...." "...." "Valdez" "Fury! My dude!" "Where are you?" "Oh you know around" I was changing back into my S.h.e.i.l.d uniform and stashed my costume away. "Get your ass back to base, Valdez we need to talk." "Yes sir" Fury hung up,and I sighed getting ready to head back to base. This is going to be an interesting discussion...

I sat down across from Fury,and we stated at eachother for a minute before he spoke up, " Do you know why I called you here" I raised my eyebrow, "I have a few ideas" It was ether the Avengers situation,or he had   somehow found out about Flame... "Stark said he doesn't want you in his tower" I snorted, "good I don't want to be on his tower" Fury sighed "Valdez..." I huffed "Fine but why do I even have to go? What about the team?" " The team is disembele right now, you know that. As for why, your there to help the Avengers, they need someone to hold them together ad a team." I raised my eyebrow, "And that's me? I can barley tolerate people being near me!" "You'll get to see Clint and Natasha, and you will still get missions." I sighed, "fine." "You will also have two mission assigned while your there" I raised my eyebrow. "First, Loki -" " wait like Loki who invaded Earth and kinda not really killed Coulson,loki? " Fury sighed "Yes that Loki. Anyways by some weird ass Asgardian law he has to be given the opportunity to make amends or some crap. Basically, he has to stay at the tower. Your mission is to watch him, the Avengers know this and will be watching him too." Fury paused to look at me for a second before continuing , "Secondly, you are to tell no one this, not even the Avengers, do you understand?" " Yes. Sir. " " Good, your second mission is to retrieve the tesaract. " "The weird glowing cube thing?" I asked. " Yes , Thor has ' lost 'it in the tower, find it and return it to shield custody asap. So you under stand? " "Yes sir." " Good now go pack your things. " I noded and left the room, when I heard Fury mumble something under his breath thanks to my super hearing, " this is going to be interesting "
