I knew I had to talk to Nat, but I just couldn't. Not now. I hacked F.R.I.D.A.Y and snuck out through a window. I didn't bother to suit up as Flame. I wasn't planning on doing that anyways, I just need to get away and clear my head.

I sat on the edge of a roof top looking over New York. My eyes drifted to Long Island. I yearned to go back, but I knew deep down that I never could, not after what I did.

Next my eyes drifted to a small apartment building where a couple lived. I smiled remembering when I use to go there all the time. I trusted them, they where the parents I never had.
But not anymore. If I went there now I would be shunned and kicked out.

I briefly looked over at the Empire state building. My eyes leaving soon after, knowing that there was no one there who trusted me.

If only they knew....
I did what I had to.
To protect them.
Everything I did was for them.
If only they would listen.

After watching the sunset, I climbed down the building and walked around the streets. I wasn't ready to go back yet so I decided to talk to a friend of mine.

I walked into the library and sat down at the computer in the corner of the room. I logged into my fake account and opened up my sucure chat room.

The sky's daisies are on fire

Fireplace: you here

Broken sky: you know it. How's it going?

Fireplace: wonderful, I'm in a tower full of A's who think that I have no real reason for being there

Broken sky: No promises but I heard AC say that he might need to pull you soon.

Fireplace: I hope so. G2g see you soon

Broken sky: stay safe

Fireplace : always

Broken sky has logged out

I logged out and shut down the computer.

I sighed knowing that I had to head back to the tower soon.

I walked back and snuck back into my room.

After a bit of debate a sighed and walked to Nat's room. I knocked on the door. "Come in" I took a breath and walked in.

Nat was sitting on her bed like she had been waiting for me. I walked dover and sat down next to her. We sat in silence for a while before she spoke up.

"This have anything to so with where you go every summer. Or why Fury won't tell me who's team your on?"

I sighed and played with my thumbs," You know I would tell you if I could..."
Nat pulled me into a hug where we stayed for a while.

"Have you seen the star wars movies yet?"
Asked Clint comeing out from the vents. Nat rolled her eyes and I let out a snort. "No"

We spent the rest of the night watching the entire Star Wars series (But not the prequels, because Clint said they sucked too much) I fell asleep with most of the family I had left around me. And for the first time in a long time, I was happy.
