Agent Ember

I'm um, really not ok with this

"Stupid Fury and his stupid missions." I stumbled as I through my stuff into a suitcase angrily. I took one last look around my room to make sure that I had everything before heading out to meet Natasha and Clint at the runway. When we got there we exchanged greeting before getting into the car and driving to the tower. It was nice to see them again, but we all knew better then to talk in the car scene it was most likely bugged by Stark.

  When we got there, everyone from yesterday was there,including Wanda, Vision,Sam,Rodney,Scott,Bucky,Peter, and Loki. "Avengers" said Steve " This is Ember, she is an agent of s.h.i.e.l.d, she has been brought in to help with Loki" The last part was kinda awkward because Loki was there,not that I cared. " So should we introduce ourselves?" Asked Sam, "I know who you all are " I replied bluntly. Yeah it was not nice, but I am not here to make friends, I just want to get this mission over with as soon as possible, and get back to my real team. Steve cleared his throught," We where just about to eat dinner, is pizza o.k with you?" I nodded and followed everyone inside.

Everyone sat down around a couple of couches, and grabbed some pizza. I grabbed a seat at the edge near Loki so I could keep a eye on him,( that is why I am here after all) but also be close to an exit in case anything happened. The other kid Peter, sat down next to me and offered me a slice of pizza, and I accepted it. " So what's your deal kid?" asked Stark I raised my eyebrow," What do you mean?" Stark sighed," Like at S.H.I.E.L.D, are you an intern or something?" I threw a half hearted glare at Stark, which was still pretty scary all things considering. " I'm a field agent" " Aren't you a little young for a field agent?" Asked Steve "Aren't you a little old?" I replied. Sam snorted,"She's got you there" Steve looked over at Sam, a small smirk on his face, " but I'm still on your left" " God Dammit!" Said Sam throwing his hands up in the air. The team then descended into a family like chaos.

 I quietly got up and slipped into the kitchen,not used to really being around this many people at once, who showed so much, emotion. It had taken me a while to get used to everyone on the Bus, this was a bit much. Bucky came and stood next to me. " weird for you to?" He asked me I nodded,"People are...weird" I responded. He smiled a bit, " Yeah they are."

After me and Bucky talked for a while Natasha came over, " you want me to show you your room?" I nodded said goodbye to Bucky and followed Nat, when we were joined by Clint. We got to my room and walked in. Peter and Wanda are next door, and Thor and Loki are across the hall. " said Clint. When Nat closed the door I let my self relax a little. " So how are you?" Asked Nat, "I'm um really not o.k with this. I kinda just want to go back to the bus." Nat smiled softly, i'm sure you wont be here for too long" After that we talked for a while before saying goodnight to each other,and Clint and Nat went back to their rooms. I fell asleep a few hours later after trying to find some more leads on Ward.
