I swear I don't still miss you

after me Nat, and Clint had talked. I had hacked into FRIDAY and put the camera in a loop so it looked like I was sleeping. I sighed geting up, and got dressed, and then I stopped. I looked at the digital clock on the bedside table, 5:00 am. July 9th. July 9th. My breath hitched  I closed my eyes and squeezed my fists. How could I be so stupid? It's today, the day I lost everything.

Flashback

"Come here Ember!" The voice of a teenage girl called out. A red headed toddler rounded the corner. She way follwed shortly after by a blond 16 year old girl, who quickly scooped her up into her arms." I got you now!" The toddler giggled "No Mar, No!" Both girls laughed as a young couple rounded the corner. "Well hello there Ember" Said the blonde woman taking the toddler from her daughter "Did Marina catch you?" She asked the toddler who giggled,  "ya" just then the phone rain causing the parents to pale, "Marina take your sister and go to your room, lock the door and don't come out untill me or your dad comes to get you. "Mom what's -" "Now Marina! Inturpted her father Marina took the toddler and waited in her room for her parents to come like they told her to. Except, they never came.

End flashback

"- I will have to alert mister Stark if your behavior continues " " what? Huh?" I asked opening my eyes and trying to calm myself down. "You seem to be having a panic attack miss,would you like me to call for help?" I sighed " No im -" I stumbled and fell to the ground knocking myself unconscious.

" You killed them!"

"Leo!"

"Let it be me, please!"

"Well we aren't exactly human are we Percy?"

"What do we do?" "How should I know" I shot up and punched the peron who ws hovering over me. "Owwewww! It was Peter crap. Him and Wanda stood akwardly next to eachother with Peter holding his face. "Uh sorry?" "It's cool" said Peter, "advanced healing and stuff" I nodded pulling myself off the floor. " Uh, F.R.I.D.A.Y told us you needed help?" Said Peter scratching his neck acwardly. " I'm fine" I replied roughly, pausing to think for a minute. "And I would appreciate it if this could stay between us." "Of course" said Wanda pater smiled and akwardly waved and left Wanda stood up but hesitated before leaving. "I know a flashback when I see one, and I understand you don't want to talk about it, but just know if you ever need to talk, I'm here." I smiled lightly "Thanks" Wanda left closing the door behind her. I sighed and ran my hand through my hair, "Keep yourself together Ember. It's one foster family, one stupid foster family. Besides your realy family is ok. Kinda" I played with the beads around my neck Rembering my friends. I don't even know if they would even let me back after what happened...

I took a shower washing the thoughts away.  Before throwing on ripped black jeans, a white shirt, with a black Jacket and black boots. I walked into the kitchen and looked around. The only thing there was a note on the table.

Ember,

            The Avengers have been called away on a last minute mission to Australia. There's no one at the base right now but if you need anything call us.

I laughed at Rodgers level of maturity even in a note. I smirked. If no ones here then I guess I can have some fun. I slipped into my Flame outfit and headed out to kick some butt.
