"It was like she knew him all her life
from his touch, to the sound of his voice, to the curve of his
lips against hers, yet at the same time it was like she was
rediscovering him all over again for the first time

Her touch burned him, hot and warm against his skin
it was draining everything from him, leaving him empty and weak
it's a strange thing he thinks, but something he would pay the price for,
endured it, if it meant he could hold her in his arms one last time

Hope is what Brimstone named her and hope she was indeed
time could not erase who she was or who she would become
it could not erase the impact she caused nor could it erase her smile
because all in one wish, she remembered even if it meant losing her

For vengeance there was a price to pay and given it all, he paid every
penny, to look at her was to fall, to miss her grace was to fail
every breath he took, it was of her, and every breath she took, it was of him,
but without air, was to suffocate in pain and suffering and anguish

Love, such a beautiful thing, such a tragic thing
the look on her face said it all and because he loved her he would do anything to have her, to protect her because he loved her, he pushed her over the edge, losing her forever, or so it seemed."
