A midnight flight

Astrid P.O.V

I made my way back to the room that I was staying in till Jay got the machine fixed. Dinner had been delicious I had met Misako Lloyd's mom. Stormfly paced around the room letting out little roars "Stormfly go to sleep girl" she looks at me "No. you heard what the ninja said" she let out a roar that sounded like a sigh before lying down on the floor. I try to sleep but the bed was too soft and pluish. I grab the blanket off the bed and walk over to Stormfly lying next to her pulling the blanket over me I fall into a light sleep

I thud woke me up. "Sh bud keep it down" a voice urgently whispers "Hiccup. Come on girl lets see what he is up to" I nudge Stormfly awake we walk out of the room to see Toothless red tail go around the corner "Come on" we rush down the hall probably making as much noise has we could on the squeaky wooden floors. we run out into the main entrance room seeing hiccup quickly close the door leading outside. I open the door seeing a night fury in the sky "Alright let's follow him" I jump on Stromfly and we take off

Hiccup P.O.V

I know it was wrong that the ninja had told us not to but I couldn't sleep and neither could toothless so we decided to take a midnight flight no one could be out it was night right I hear the beating of wings behind me. looking back I saw Stormfly with Astrid on her. I steer toothless into the clouds we swooped and dived and flew above her for awhile. She looked up, coming straight up "good day my lady" "funny. Hiccup what are you doing you heard the ninja?" "I could ask you the same?" she looks at me "Okay fine I was going to do this anyways" Toothless lets out a roar that sound like enough chitchat can we go now? we head north. Flying over a few forests and some villages. I could see a glowing tiny blue dot no bigger than  pebble  "Hiccup we should head back" Astrid yells I wanted to find out what that blue thing was but I know Astrid was right "Okay" we turn around flying back "Shall we race?" Astrid looks at me "If you think toothless can beat Stormfly than sure" she speeds up Stromfly so that they get a head start "Come on bud" I move the lever in Toothless's tail and we catch up to Stormfly speeding past Stromfly and Astrid "Hiccup!" she yelled I look back seeing her she is leaning forward "Speed up Stormfly" Stormfly roars and rapidly flapping her wings.

the two girls rush past us "Ha ha catch up!" Astrid yelled "oh we will!" toothless roars and we fly faster. I could see the temple now "give it all you got bud" I yell toothless rapidly speeds up flying straight past Astrid and touching down on the ground just before Stromfly "Good race" Astrid slides off of Stromfly "yeah but next time I'll beat you"  I  just nodded before heading back inside

 "We were here all night" I whisper-yell to Astrid who gives me a what to you think I was going to say look before closing the door to her room. I  look at the way to comfortable bed I look at Toothless his head was up looking at me his tail sweeps the floor tripping me so that I fall onto the floor "Alright fine" I grumble resting my head on Toothless's tail falling into sleep.
