The pair both went on  ferris wheel.

Oh no, let me guess...
Blaze thought.
We're supposed to kiss at the top of the ferris wheel.

She grumbled at the start of it by just looking at the mechanism she'll be riding.

She repeated again in her head.

I can't believe he really watched some American chick flick movie; well, I assume. I mean come on, it was obvious to start with.

"Blaze, let's go," he waved his hand towards the seats.

She then got out of her trance and walked quickly to sit beside him.

During the ride, she let him babble on talking while Blaze was debating, thinking about changing her mind on things.

You know what, maybe I can just tell him to just be friends. He's a nice guy after all, right? Of course, he'll get over it. Yeah...

Blaze thought, changing her mind.

It was almost time, and it was getting close for them to be at the top.

"Blaze... I have something to confess..."

"I have actually liked you for a long time you know..." he started.

"Ever since the beginning of the school year.. you just took such an interest in me."

His eyes were twinkling now- no, sparkling.

But now it was my time to speak.

"I'm sorry to break it to you, but... well I guess you already know what I'm going to say..."

"No.. but-but.."

I'm sorry Soonyoung, but I believe you should've already known too...

"You know what this means Hosh, I'm friendzoning you. As harsh as it sounds, that's the truth. I'm not sugar coating anything Soonyoung."

His face was faltering.
I mean it was serious when I said his real name, I actually never say it out loud. But this time I did.

"Sometimes Soonyoung, it's okay not to have high expectations. Therefore by having that it won't be the center of your whole life just for me to fall for you. Besides, don't focus on such things like this, please. You should move on to greater things, I know you have enough potential."

"I know that I didn't tell you this but Minghao talked to me a few days ago about this date. I actually knew and I'm sorry that I kept that from you. But what he told me worried me. Minghao was saying that you took day and night shifts, overtime even, on your part-time job just so you can buy that expensive designer clothes you're wearing right now. Dino had been distraught on how sleep-deprived you've become in the last weeks. And Jun caught you so many times collapsing, fainting, being dehydrated. Your dance crew and I are really concerned about you Soonyoung.

But please don't take it the wrong way, I'm flattered, I am. So please, you're like one of the best friends that I have made throughout the year."

I remember like it was yesterday, Minghao was in such a state that I've never seen him in. He almost cried actually. And I'm glad that he told me and was worried. He really is a good friend.
