"Run Beth!"
"No Jay, I can't leave you!"
"You have to find a way out of here."
"But those things, they're almost here and you hurt."
"Just go!"
"I love you Jay!"
I stood there, sword in hand, watching Beth's beautiful figure, with her golden blonde hair flowing behind her, disappear into the dense forest. I feared that I would never see her again. I could hear their footsteps moving closer and closer, and I knew, with a sprained ankle, I wouldn't stand a chance against these creatures. These monsters were towering with thick black fur and giant paws, their eyes burned red like fire and was filled with hatred. Big yellow teeth dripped with blood, and their large black claws stained with the remains of their last meal. I looked around for any chance to survive, but the thick forest and a large wall of rock surrounded me. When I looked back at the woods, I could hear large footsteps and say shadowy figures with blood red eyes moving closer. I might be the best track runner in my high school, but my ankle hurt so badly I could barely move, and those brutes didn't look like they were going to take it easy on me.
