Beth is a tall blonde. She's on the girls high school track team. She has pink cheeks and a thin face with high cheekbones below stunning green eyes.
"Hey Beth are you doing anything tomorrow?" I asked at lunch on Friday.
"No, I'm free. What's up?"
"I'm going running tomorrow, and wanted to know if you'd like to join me."
"Sure, I can go."
"Okay where should we meet? I can drive my car."
"Lets meet here, so I can lock up my bike."
"Alright, she you at eight."
Beth and I walked to our classes a normal run would turn into a nightmare.

The next morning I woke up and headed for the bathroom. I looked into the mirror at my shaggy black hair sticking up in every direction. I'm the tallest on the boys track team and the youngest. Six foot two and sixteen years old. Looking into the glass, I wondered why Beth chose me. She chose me out of all the popular guys. Beth chose me instead of Tripp Castellan, the tall handsome football quarterback at Lincoln high school. He worked out a lot and could crush you skull with one blow. He loves her and everyone knew it, but she turned him down. I looked at the time and started getting dressed. At school Beth sat on the bike rack in the front lawn, looking prettier than ever.
"Hey Beth, you ready?"
"Yep. Let's roll."
Beth and I have this special place in the woods. It has a well worn trial lined with beautiful red maples and northern red oak. I decided to see what the trail farthest to the east was like. When we arrived at the woods,we parked my car right at the tree line.
"It's so beautiful, Jay."
"Isn't it amazing?"
We ran, taking the trail to the left instead of our normal route. As we ran I saw an enormous shadow in the middle of the trail...

To my 'Run' fans: I'd just like to say I'm really sorry I didn't get to post another part to it! 😭
I was super busy today so I didn't have time to edit it.

Anyway, this is a peace I wrote a long time ago. It's not as good as my newer ones, but I still like it.

Please vote and comment your thoughts! Love y'all!
