Star's POV

I walked into the Stop and Slurp and went to the cash register.

"See you later Star!" Janna said, heading home from her recent shift.

I waved back and focused on work. Since Mr. Lusch was handling the money, he mostly want me to take a look at any slushie machines that weren't working or put new snacks away.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for som-" I saw who was talking and it was Marco. We both stopped what we were doing and just looked at each other awkwardly for thirty seconds.

"Ahem, sorry what was it you wanted." I said trying to avoid eye contact.

" I was... Looking for the peanut butter. " He stuttered. I gave him a look and pointed to the food aisle that was right next to us. He chuckled nervously before I left to continue my work with red creeping up to my cheeks.

"And I also wanted to apologize...again, for whatever happened last night." Marco stuttered.

I chuckled a little before responding. "Is that what you were so nervous about?"

He laughed a bit too. " Hehe, was it really that obvious. "

"Yes, yes it was. And I accept your apology. Just be lucky that you didn't see anything else." I said and walked away to finish what I was doing earlier.

...

"Hey Janna, I'm home!" I said walking in to the house. I looked over, and there she was, sitting next to Tom, Jackie, and Marco.

They were finishing watching the movie Nerve. Then the end credits came on and Janna got up, stretched, and went over to the kitchen. "What is everybody doing here?"

"We were just watching a movie and hanging out. If you want to you can hang out with us."

I was about to respond, when Tom called us over. "Janna, Star, come over here, look."

We headed over to the group and stood behind the couch, looking at the TV screen.

*cool news into music* 'We have breaking news, popstar 'Summer Keen' has been reported missing by her manager, Toffee. He is here with us now to talk a little bit about her disappearance.'

'Thank you, Katie. Summer was last recently seen in her dressing room, after I talked to her about a contract. She got mad at me for no random reason, and pushed me out the door. Now Summer never acts like this, so I believe she is mentally ill, and could be dangerous. If you have any information about her location, then please contact this number."

I shook my head and slowly moved backwards, not seeing the step and fell crashing into pots and pans on the table.

"Star, are you okay?" Janna asked with a concerned look on her face, and everyone else looking at me.

" I-I'm fine, I just n-need to make a-a call. " I said before running up the stairs.

Where is it, where is it?!

"Ah-ha!" I congratulated myself once I found my phone, and called Toffee.

"Hello, who is this?" Toffee asked. (FYI Star used the *67 thingy on th IPhone so the people can't see your caller ID)

"This is Star. We have a lot to talk about. First of all, why the hell did you tell everybody that I was mentally ill?!"

"Because if you tell people that I threatened your life of you didn't sign the contract, they obviously wouldn't believe you because, well, you're mentally ill."

Dammit

"But why did you have to go on an international television about me running away?"

" It was actually worldwide, and I didn't know where you were but I knew you'd be watching. And now that I have your number I can have the police track where you are right now. Thanks! See you in a bit, 'Summer Keen'."

I dropped to the floor with my phone still in my hand, tears slowly rolling do own my cheeks and onto my shirt.

He's going to kill me. Literally.

There was knocking on the door, but I didn't answer. The person then opened it and came right in. "Oh my God Star. Now you have to tell me what's wrong, no backing away." Jana said sitting next to me on the floor.

I took a deep breath in and explained everything to her.

She looked at me for a moment and then hugged me tightly. "Don't worry Star, I'll do everything to help you out of this situation."

"Thanks. But I can't stay here, Toffee said that the police are taking me down, and they'll find out that I live here eventually."

"I'm pretty sure that Marco has an extra room that you can stay in at his house."

"But doesn't Jackie live with him, and wouldn't that be weird for another girl to be living at her boyfriend's house?" I asked.

"They broke up yesterday because Jackie has to go to Europe or something and they don't want to have a long distance relationship."

"Oh."

Janna took my hand and led me downstairs to where everyone else was.

"Marco, can I talk to you for a bit?" Janna asked Marco.

I whispered in her ear before Marco came over. "Just don't tell him about, you know who and what's trying to find me."

My friend nodded her head and walked off with Marco.

"So, Star. Where have you been all these years?" Tom asked.

"In Hollywood mostly. I traveled a lot." Everything just got really tense in the room. Tom and I dated when we were younger, but I didn't think that I was ready and neither did he, so we broke up.

Marco walked into the room a couple minutes later with his cheeks a light shade of red. Janna then five-starred his back making him lunge forward.

"Looks like Marco has a new roommate!" She exclaimed

I chuckled a bit and he asked, "So when do you have to move in by."

I looked at the time on my phone. "About an hour."

"Okay." We stood there looking at each other(again) until he broke the silence. "Well, go get your stuff!"

"Oh! Yeah, hehe." And I quickly ran up the stairs to get my few possessions that was up in Janna's room.
