"Mommy," a six year old Sam whines. "I dunno anyone here."

Mary looked down at her youngest son, his multicolored eyes staring up at her, shaggy hair thrown into his eyes. They had tried to cut it, but he denied and denied, eventually making them give up.

"Come on, Sammy," Mary says, crouching to Sam's level. "It'll be fun. Just like kindergarten, remember?"

Sam nodded, and his mother stood up, and they walked with the others to the teacher's desk.

"Hi, I'm Mary Winchester, and this is Sam." Mary introduces, hugging him to her side.

"Oh hello! I'm going to be his teacher, Mrs. Jones. If you would allow Sam here to go sit on that circle carpet with the other kids, you can come with me to the speech with the rest of the parents." The teacher exclaimed, clapping her hands slightly.

Mary hugged her little boy one last time, and said,"Bye Sammy. Have a fun day, okay baby?" Sammy nodded, then let his mother lead him to the carpet. His eyes followed her until she was out of sight.

The assistant teacher, who introduced herself as Miss Maci, made them all do a game to get to know each other. When it was Sam's turn, he stood up and stated,"Hi... my name is Sammy. I have a big brother Dee and my mommy and daddy. I like to read."

Everyone listened quietly to the rest of the children's statements, and Sam wasn't really paying attention, until she got up. She had really pretty brown hair and blue eyes, her hair done in two braids.

"Hi, my name is Skylar Graham, and I am six. I have a mommy and daddy and a baby sister. I like to draw with crayons." She sat down after, and the next kid continued onto his or her introduction. Skylar listened to the other children's speeches, but noticed someone staring at her. Her head turned, only to find Sam looking at her with his head tilted.

"What you doing?" She asked, tilting her head also.

"I'm trying to see your eyes. They pretty." He pointed at her sky blue eyes, one reason she was named what she was.

Skylar moved closer, and let Sam see her eyes. They continued to just chat the rest of the day, and when playtime came, they played, and naptime, they slept next to each other on their mats.

After naps, the children's parents came to pick them up, most of them gone pretty fast. Sam watched for his mother, then suddenly saw a flash of blonde hair and waved.

"Mommy!" He exclaimed, jumping up and down with his small hands in the air.

Mary came up to her son and hugged his tiny frame. She pulled back to see a big, toothless smile right in front of her. She could tell something happened, something good.

"What?" She questioned with a soft smile.

"I met this girl today, look." He clasped his hand in hers and dragged her over to Skylar, who was talking to her mommy.

"Hi Sky. This is my mommy." He said, tapping her on the shoulder.

Skylar turned around, seeing Sam and his mother. "Mommy! This is the boy I was telling you about!" She stated.

Mary and Skylar's mom, Emily, talked for a bit, until the kids were complaining to leave. They exchanged numbers, clearly telling their kids would be friends. There was a play date set up for that Friday at the park, and Sam was so excited.
