"Hey Joji, wanna go out for a smoke?" Ian offered, which George quickly accepted, desperately wanting to leave the crowded atmosphere. Ian grabbed his hand once more, guiding him towards the exit. One the two had stepped outside, Ian took out two cigarettes, placing one between his fingers and putting the second in Joji's mouth for him.

With a small smile, Ian lit George's cigarette for him before lighting his own. They leaned against the building, inhaling chemicals in peace. "Both of my closest friends know." Joji stated out of the blue, turning to look at Ian, who raised an eyebrow at him. "About my sexuality. I was kinda forced into telling the second one though." George said with a small laugh, taking another long drag and admiring the way the smoke curled into patterns before disappearing.

"Were they cool with it?" Ian asked, his eyes staring into Joji's.

"Thankfully, yes. I don't know about the other people I'm 'friends' with though, they're hard to tell with." George responded, watching as a couple of ambulances passed by, probably from a collision caused by the recent poor weather.

Ian put out his cigarette and stepped on it, to be sure he didn't start any fires. "Joj... I have a weird question to ask you." Ian said, shifting his position. George was unsure why Ian appeared nervous, but nodded anyways, signalling for Ian to continue. "Did you wanna go out for dinner with me?"

George grinned at the invitation. "Ian Carter, are you asking me out on a date?" Joji asked, putting out his cigarette and flicking it to the ground.

"If you'd like it to be." Ian responded, adapting a wide smile similar to his friend's.

"Well if you are asking me on a date, then I'd definitely accept." George stated, leaning up on his toes to kiss Ian.

Their night had just gotten a whole lot better.
