"I think that you're wrong, and you're fucking gay." Max states as Joji tries to help him study for science.

"I don't think so. I think I'm right, and you're fucking gay." George retorted out of instinct.

"Oh yeah, speaking of which, I've been meaning to talk to you about that..." Max looks at his friend as he speaks, putting down his pencil. George groaned internally, knowing Max would pester him about liking Ian.

"I thought you liked that girl, Katt?" Joji asked, cocking his head. Max snorted, a small smile on his face.

"Well of course the fuck not. I'm good friends with her, that's it. I mean yeah, she's hot I will admit, but nah I like someb-" Max stopped himself, realizing what he said and changing the subject. "S-so, Ian, huh?"

Joji furrowed his eyebrows, but he knew Max well, and knew that he'd have a defensive freak out if he pressured him about the aforementioned 'somebody.' "Um, yeah, Ian. He-he's actually really cute when you get to know him. And a huge fuckin nerd." George added the last part with a small smile.

Max smiled as well. He had known Joji for five whole years, and after what seemed like an eternity of trying to get him a date, his little child finally found somebody he likes. "I'm glad you've found someone. Do you think he's into you too?"

"Maybe. He acts like it, but it's not enough for me to go on..." Joji trailed off with a sigh, playing with the pencil still in his hand.

"George, I'm telling you this both completely honest and completely no homo; you're a hot ass jap and I'm sure Ian likes you." Max said, placing a hand on George's shoulder.

"Thanks man. I really hope so. It'd kind of suck to fall for one of the few gay kids in the school and not have him like me back, eh?" Joji responded, looking at Max's paper. "You're gonna fail that science test."

"Fuck off cunt. We're having our gay talk, don't change the subject." Max said, earning a smile from Joji. "I mean, according to you, you've already pulled the dick out, so there's not much more you can do to drop hints. Just keep getting all close to him, intimate to a point, flirt with him. You'll be able to tell by how he reacts wether or not he's into you." Max explained, exercising one of his surprising skills of good advice.

"Thanks dude, sounds like a plan. Do you like anybody?" Joji asked his friend cautiously, wanting to avoid Max's quick temper.

He tensed up, trying to look for a good lie. "I-I mean, outside of Chris Hemsworth no." Max stuttered, looking down at the multitude of papers in front of him. "You're right. I'm gonna fail this shit. Let's study."

And so, the two of them spent the next few hours over-prepping Max for his science test. "I always knew it was a good plan to befriend a smart dude," Max had said at the end of their study session.

When his friend left, George sat alone and thought of what he was told by Max. Would he be able to do it? He wasn't sure, but he may give it a try.

Joji picks up his phone, sending Ian a text message, one which George would have no idea how much it meant to Ian.

George: Hey cutie, wanna hang out a bit? We can go get dinner at a crappy restaurant or something, this town's full of those.

And just like that, it was settled. Joji got ready, choosing a simple outfit of black jeans, plain black tee shirt and a dark blue flannel as he waited for Ian to pick him up.
