"Of course, she misinterpreted my intention entirely." Holmes said to Constable Clark. After the chamber maid left the room, screaming, the officers of Scotland Yard finally came in and released you and Holmes from your restraints.

Although, while waiting for the officers to come, you could've sworn you seen Holmes looking at you, like he was admiring the view. You blush and turned away but you also couldn't help to look at him as well and you couldn't lie, Holmes is a well built man.

"Naturally, sir." Constable Clark said to Holmes.

Now the two of you are fully clothed and sitting in a carriage, heading over to Sir Thomas's home. The constable told you and Holmes that he was dead in a most suspicious way. "That's why I find this modern religious fellow so troubling. There's no latitude for misunderstandings. It runs right over reason and chambermaids were once such liberal breed." Holmes continued as he looks out the window.

"My wife's a chambermaid, sir." Clark replied which made Holmes stop and freeze.

You bite your lips as the constable says. "Anyhow, it's a good thing she was a friend otherwise we may never have found you two. The inspectors been over at Baker Street himself this morning, sir." He looks over at Holmes and realized he hadn't moved or said anything.

He leans over towards him and said. "Just joking about the wife, sir." Holmes let's out a sigh of relief as the carriage takes you three to Sir Thomas's home.

You arrive at the home of Sir Thomas and Clark leads you and Holmes inside. "We've checked everything. There's no sign of a break in and the Butler didn't heat a thing. So, body in the bath tub, his eyes were wide open and the only thing missing was....his ring." Clark rambled as he looks over to his side and sees that you and Holmes vanished.

He looks around and continues walking around until he found you two in the bathroom looking at the tub. "Why did you drain the water?" Holmes asked an officer that was standing by. "Out of common decency." The officer replied.

You rolled you eyes at this, because this kind of stupidity happens from time to time, something always gets tampered with before you and the boys could come and investigate. It happens more often than you think.

"Crime is common. Logic is rare. The decent thing to do is to catch the killer, not provide conflict for the cause." Holmes remarked, annoyed. The constable nor the officer said anything as the two of you continued to investigate.

Holmes runs his fingers along the inside of the tube while you look around and see a jar of bath salts in a table that's was next to a chair. You picked up the jar and sniffed it. Holmes looks over at you and walks up to your side, you hand the jar for him and he sniffs it too. "Hmmm." He hums then you take the jar and hand it to the constable and asked. "What is that?"

He sniffs it and said. "Jasmine bath salt, ma'am."

You smirk as Holmes said. "Super. Probably come from a larger container. It would either be in the pantry. High up where it's warm and dry. Or in a linen cupboard with a vent. Oh and constable, you could do worse than to check the ground under the rear window for any signs for footprints not your own." Holmes ordered but the officer and constable stand around and stare at him.

You rolled your eyes and said. "Data, data, data! We cannot make bricks without clay!" The officers hurry off and Holmes smiles over at you as the two of you nod and get to work now that they were out of the way.

The two of you glance around the room while Holmes walks over to the chair and sits down in and moves his eyes around the room. You look around, too, and noticed something on the wall. You step towards it and run your hand along a layer of dust. The dust has a line down it as if the wall cracked open.

"Holmes." You said and Holmes walks over to you and you point out what you discovered.

He narrows his eyes at the line then walks to the sink, grabs a hand of talcum powder and tosses the powder against the wall revealing fingerprints on one of the panels. You push the panel and the wall shifts, opening to reveal a secret room. You and Holmes enter it and find a prayer table and ancient texts, spellbooks.

There was an Altar with four strange objects: a strand of human hair, a cow's bone, a large sharp fang and a feather. Holmes pockets the items as the officers come back.

"I have no idea what to make of that." Holmes said as the officers come in and become startled by the secret room. You see that they have a huge container of Bath salts and you smile at the men and said. "Excellent work." As you and Holmes walk out of the room and head out of the building.

Little bit later the two of you return to Baker Street and you see that Watson's office door was open. You two walk in and see he is almost finished with his packing. "I didn't know you were here." You said to Watson.

Watson looks over at you and shrugs as he continues to pack. Holmes comes up next to you and asked. "Since this room is no longer yours, do you mind if we utilise it?" Watson looks back over to you two and said. "Be my guest." You and Holmes smile and turn to the officers behind you two and said. "In here chaps."

The three officers walk in the room with a large black body bag and one of them asked. "Where shall we put him?"

"Anywhere's fine." Holmes said and the men set the bag on the table in front of Watson.

They unzip it, revealing the dead body of one of the thugs from Reordan's lodging. "Who is he?" Watson asked, confused. "He's the man who tried to kill (y/n) at Reordan's lodgings. I suppose his neck didn't survive the impact of Dredger landing on him." Holmes replied.

"Yes...thanks for that by the way." You said and Holmes smiles and nods at you.

"But there is still some consolation in the knowledge that he can still be of service to his fellow man." Holmes said as he begins to examine the body while Watson continues to pack. Holmes pulls out some equipments from the boxes Watson just packed as he analyzes the outer elbows and forearms of the thug's coat.

"Elbow is long stained with blood. But it's older than his own injuries." He said and he scraps at the layers of blood with his knife and examines it.

"I don't know if it's human. It's not a butcher. Let me see..." He mutters and he cuts a lock of the man's hair, ignites it and studies the color of the flames.

You and Watson wrinkle your noses at the smell as Holmes said. "Yellow flame. Green bursts. An industrial worker." He uses a curved nail file to scrape dirt from under the man's fingernails and rubs the evidence between his fingers. "Coal. River silt. And the stains on his trousers should put him squarely in...."

"Nine Elms." Watson replied.

"Sorry what?" You asked him.

"The time area you're looking for is Nine Elms." Watson said. You and Holmes smile at him and Holmes asked. "Do you remember where I put the Lord's register of members interests?"

"It's on the step ladder." Watson said and you walk over to the ladder and find the register and hand it to Holmes.

He takes it and Watson walks next to him and looks through it. "Blackwood has had his hand in almost everything that is corrosive to the spirit. Woolidge Arsenal. Limehouse Chemical. Queenshithe Slaughter house, Nine Elms!" Watson exclaims.

"Well done, Watson. That should lead us right to Blackwood." You said with a smile.

"Not us. You two." Watson said as he goes back to packing up his stuff.

"Just a figure of speech." Holmes mutters and you and him walk out of the room.

Watson sighs then continues to pack when something catches his eye on the table, a pistol. "He's left that on purpose." Watson mutters. After a few moments of contemplation, he grabs the pistol, pockets it, grabs his jacket and follows you two out.
