A new beginning

"Well..."
"What is it angel?"
"Nothing I'm just so bored and there's nothing to do"
"We could have a dinner date, but only if you feel like getting dressed up."
"Why don't we have a dinner date here, at home. With pizza, blankets, cuddling, and a movie."
"Sounds good to be puddinpop"
So we got the movie picked out, ordered pizza, got out a soft blanket, and cuddled real close, but when mike ordered the pizza he went to another room. He came back and looked at me smiling.
"Hey baby?"
"Yes Puddin?"
He looked at me with this look in his eyes. The look reminded me of when we first started having feelings for each other.
He took my hand.
"Baby girl, I love you so much that its beyond imagination. Someday you will be my queen and until then this is to promise you that no matter what you will be someday"
He pulled out a small box, and got down onto one knee. My heart started racing a million miles an hour. All I could think is
"Omg is this really happening"
"Baby will you marry me"
My world froze
"YES"
He put the ring on my finger and held me close
"I love you Puddin"
"I love you too baby girl"
The pizza arrived and what I saw next made me smile and made me cry.. I was trying so hard not to but I broke down in tears of joy. The fucking pizza said "will you marry me" on the box. All I could do was hug him tight. We continued watching the movie and fell asleep in each other's arms.
