Chapter 2 - Ryan's First Step

Ryan began his first training mission. This is the first step of his dream. His first training mission began in the Forest and Hills.

"Okay, it's time to start! Ryan, go get the supplies." Gar said.

"Roger!" Ryan said.

Ryan goes to the supply item box to get the supplies for his training mission.

"Now Ryan, can you tell me what did you get?" Gar said.

"Let's see, I got 3 First Aid Med, 2 Rations, and 2 Mini Whetstones." Ryan said.

"Okay, let me explain those items that you get. First Aid Med is just like a Potion. When you drink it, it will recover your health. You don't want to die there, do you? Next is the Ration, when you eat it, it will recover your stamina. It's better to battle if you have food in your stomach. Then lastly, the Mini Whetstone. If your sword's too dull, it will have less damage. So use Mini Whetstone when your sword becomes dull. Only the Light Bowgun, Heavy Bowgun, and the Bow are the weapons that don't need to use a sharpening item. These items are called Supply Items, that means when your quest is done, the guild will take it from you. You understand?" Gar said.

"I understand. Now what's next?" Ryan said.

"Now, for your first training mission, I want you to bring me 2 Raw Meats. You can get them from an Aptonoth. Good luck!" Gar said.

"Okay, I should start now. See you later." Ryan said.

Ryan goes to the field where Aptonoths are gathering.

"Alright, I just found an Aptonoth, time to slay it." Ryan said to his mind.

Ryan quickly slashes the Aptonoth with his long sword. The other Aptonoths started to run away. Ryan keeps slashing the Aptonoth until it die. After he slew the Aptonoth, he started to carve it until he carved 2 Raw Meats. Ryan goes back to the base camp with the Raw Meats.

"Master Gar! I've already got the Raw Meats!" Ryan said while he was running towards Gar.

"Good job Ryan but in order to complete a Gathering Quest, you must put the items into the Delivery Box, that red box there." Gar said.

Ryan put the Raw Meats into the Delivery Box.

"Done!" Ryan said.

"Well done Ryan, well done." Gar said happily.

"Thank you Master Gar. I'm happy to see you be at my back." Ryan said.

"Okay, let's go back to the village. We'll rest your tired body there." Gar said.

Then they go back to the village.

"Hey Ryan, where do you stay during the night?" Gar said.

"I stay at the tavern." Ryan said.

"At the tavern? Well, since you don't have any home, you could move at the vacant house near the entrance. It's my house before, but I'm actually in the guild now." Gar said.

"Huh? Are you sure?" Ryan said.

"Yep. It's all yours." Gar said.

"Thank you master. I don't know how to repay you." Ryan said.

"Nah, you don't need to repay me. And be sure to wake up early, you still have a training." Gar said.
