Chapter 1 - The New Hero

Ryan, an 18 year old man who lived at the Parchrut Village. Parchrut Village is a peaceful village. But it is destroyed by the "Rathalos", a giant red wyvern. All of the villagers are killed, exept for Ryan. He managed to survived, but he felt unconscious. After that day,  he got himself at the Ronayo Village. The village where many hunters are gathering. It is located at the foot of the Ronayo Mountain.

Ryan asks himself, " Huh? How did I get here?".

The man beside him started to speak, "Oh, you're awake! I found you lying on the ground unconsciously. So, how's your body feeling well?".

"Urgh.. I think I need a little more rest." Ryan said.

"Oh, just rest over there, okay?" the man said.

The next day.

"Huh? Oh, it's you again." Ryan said to the man.

"Well, how's  your body feeling well now?" the man said.

"I think it's okay now. Thank you for taking care of me." Ryan said.

"Oh it's nothing. Really. I heard that the Parchrut Village has been attacked by the Rathalos so I came to go look what happened. Then I see you there, lying on the ground. Then I pick you up, and I bring you all the way here to Ronayo Village." the man said.

"Wait, what about my parents? Did you see them?" Ryan said.

"Unfortunately, I heard that no one survived the attack of the Rathalos exept for you." the man said.

"What? That's not true. My parents aren't dead yet! They're still alive aren't they?!" Ryan said to the man.

"No, face the truth. Your parents are gone." the man said.

Many days passed. They already found the body of Ryan's mother and father. Then they give them a proper burial.

"Mom.. Dad.. I promise.. I promise that I will revenge you." Ryan said while he was crying.

The next day. Ryan made his decision, he will going to be a Monster Hunter. He will take the role to explore the land. And to revenge his parents. Ryan seeks the man who have taken care of him because the man is the leader of the guild at the Ronayo Village.

"Hello, may I see the leader of your guild?" Ryan said to the man standing at the front of the Guild House.

"Oh, the leader? Well, are you going to make a request?" the man said to Ryan.

"Huh? No, I want to be a hunter." Ryan said.

"Oh, I see. Wait here." the man said.

The man goes inside to call the leader of the guild.

"Hey Gar! Someone wants to speak with you!" the man shout as he calls the leader.

Meanwhile...

"Ah! It's you... Um.." the leader said.

"Ryan. My name is Ryan." Ryan said to the leader.

"Oh, okay. So Ryan, what brings you here?" the leader said.

"I came here to be hunter. I want you to train me. Because I want to revenge my parents." Ryan said.

"Hmmm... Only if you can follow my training rules." the leader said.

"So, what's the rules?" Ryan said.

"Rule number 1, you will only use the armor and weapon that I will borrow for you. Number 2, make sure you get the supplies from the Supply Box, because it can prove useful to you. Lastly, always follow the order that I will gave you.  Got that?" the leader said.

"Got it!" Ryan said.

"Say, why don't we start your training today and head over to the battlefield?" the leader said.

"Good idea." Ryan said.

"Then let's go! Follow me!" the leader said.

"Oh! One more thing, your name is Gar right? So, can I call you master Gar? Ryan said.

"Call me whatever you like." Gar said.

"Thanks!" Ryan said.
