Moving in

After a year of moving cross finally was able to settle down in a small town. "Population 60,001" cross smiled as he unboxed the last of his belongings. He was a new person and was determined to be a great and successful student. Due to always moving cross didn't really try to make friends it felt heart breaking to say goodbye, so he mostly stayed out of the friend making zone. His parents always tried to encourage him to make friends, but he always ignored. "Better to be alone than to feel bad" cross smiled as he finished fixing up his room to his liking. All day he thought about getting himself a new poster his orginal FOB poster wasn't so fresh anymore. Cross smiled as he went down stairs. He sat on his sofa and watched t.v til he heard a knock on the door. Cross was greeted by a smiling face holding a box of cookies. "oh hi what can I help you with?" "Oh I just wanted to welcome you to the neighborhood, My name is dream" "oh I'm cross" dream smiled as he handed cross the box of cookies. Cross smiled "would you like to come inside for some tea?" "Yes please". The two sat in the kitchen and spoke fir what seemed like hours. Dream spoke of some interesting topics. Cross was all ears listening to it all. Wait was he making a friend?. Cross's thought were cut of as dream picked up his phone. "Don't worry I'll be home right now, of course it was necessary! You know what I'll see at home" "who was that?" "My brother nightmare, he always worried about where I'm at" cross chuckled as he showed dream to the door. "Thank you so much for the tea cross" "my pleasure" dream waved goodbye. Cross walked into his room and smiled. "I have a good feeling about this place"
