A/N: Alright so a heads up here. This chapter is centered around Bill. Now, to me, even though he's been turned to stone, it's more like he's comatose. So while he's stuck like that, his consciousness is more or less dreaming. However, as the title says, his dreams are actually memories he has that he's reliving. Okay? Okay.
Enjoy~!

-In Bill's Mind-

I was wandering through the woods of Gravity Falls, in my human form for once. It made it easier to deal with any humans that may have crossed my path. I had only been walking for about five minutes before something weird happened. I could suddenly sense what felt like a hole in this dimension- a rift or a portal. Confused, and definitely intrigued, I made my way towards it.

Soon enough I came across a decent sized rabbit's hole at the base of a large weeping willow tree. I stopped.

For some reason, I don't know how it works, but I always stumbled across one of these beautiful trees when I was close to seeing him again.

Will Cipher.

We had known each other for millennia, ever since we were created. We grew up together, but as we got older we began to go our separate ways. Myself towards a more chaotic fate while he chose one of peace. Of course, we still kept in touch, and we usually crossed paths at least once every year, to catch up with each other and what not.

But...it's been over three years since I last saw Will.

I had tried to search for him, knowing where he usually was, but I couldn't find him anywhere. I couldn't even feel his presence in the Mindscape! So of course I was worried. Will is the closest thing I have to family, he's my only friend. Yeah, I say I have other friends, but I know they wouldn't stick by me through thick and thin like Will would.

I miss him...

I snapped out of my thoughts, refocusing on my current situation. Maybe this was a sign that I could finally find him!

The rabbit's hole was slightly bigger than a normal one would be, and to a human it would look like nothing more than a hole in the ground. But I was not human, I saw it for what it really was. The hole was filled with what looked like swirling, purple and pink magic energy. A rift in the space time continuum. These were rare, and always led to another dimension where the other side of the rift was.

The sane thing to do would have been to turn and walk away.

Good thing I'm not sane!

Grinning like a madman I picked up my cane and jumped feet first into the rift. It was like jumping in water, and for a few moments all I could see was the magic energy that had surrounded me. And then I was thrown out of the rift, landing face first on the ground in front of it.

That's the one thing I hate about rifts. You can never know which way you'll come out.

I stood up, frowning at the dirt and grass stains that now covered my nice suit. I snapped my fingers, my eye glowing gold for a moment before the mess disappeared, leaving my clothes clean again. I smirked in triumph, before turning to take notice of my surroundings.

What the Hell???

This dimension looked exactly the same as the one I had just left. The rift was still disguised as a rabbit hole beneath the weeping willow tree. This looked exactly like Gravity Falls.
