-Will's P.O.V.-

"Uh...hi?"

I stared at the girl who had spoken- the one who looked almost identical to Mistr- no. No she's not my Mistress anymore.

I took a deep, shaky breath, trying to calm myself.

I knew these two children- who looked so much like /them/- weren't the Gleefuls that had kept me prisoner. These two belonged to this dimension, the ones Bill had told me about. I was suddenly very glad he had shown them to me before, other wise I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Coming out of my thoughts I noticed they were all just staring at me, silent. I hate it when people stare at me, it makes me nervous. I ducked down behind Bill's statue a touch more, to where only my eyes and above were visible.

Oh gods I wish you were here, Bill...why did you have to leave me...?

I felt my nervous tension grow even worse as I realized they were waiting for me to say or do something in response. A part of me wanted to disappear back to the Mindscape, but that place was so empty without Bill...

I took another breath, trying to calm myself once again as I peeked out at them a bit more, watching them all nervously.

"H-H-He-Hell-lo..." I mentally cursed my stutter, but didn't have time to dwell on it as the moment I had spoken the man with the gun shot at me again.

I shrieked and ducked back down behind Bill's statue just as the red beam struck my poorly made shield and ricocheted off. I breathed a sigh of relief when I realized it hadn't broken the shield, though it had weakened it.

When my heart stopped pounding in my chest and the sound of blood rushing through my veins faded from my ears I could hear the girl that had spoken before shouting something.

Peeking over the edge of Bill's statue once again I noticed she appeared to be scolding the man with the gun- who looked both annoyed and ashamed at the same time.

If things were as Bill said, then the two younger twins are the reverse versions of the Gleefuls, so their names should be Dipper and Mabel as well. But the older two...

I wasn't entirely sure. Mast- no. I need to stop thinking that way. The Dipper and Mabel from my dimension never brought me around their family, maybe once or twice, but I don't remember their names.

I glanced over their appearance, trying to find some aspect that may give me a clue as to what Bill had called them. After a few minutes I noticed that the one who had shot at me had six fingers instead of five. Six...

Oh! Sixer! That's what Bill had called him!

I'm not sure about the other one though...

I was once again brought out of my thoughts to notice they were all staring at me. I shrunk back slightly, hiding behind Bill's statue.

The girl- Mabel- gave me a sympathetic smile, stepping forward into the clearing a bit more. The other three tried to stop her with some quickly whispered words and failed grabbing motions, but she ignored him.

I watched warily as she stopped a few feet outside of my shield, sitting down cross-legged on the ground. She gave me a brighter, friendlier smile this time, waving slightly.

"Hi! Again!" She paused, giggling slightly before continuing, "My name's Mabel Pines! I'm sorry about my Grunkle Ford, he's just a little bit jumpy today!"

I briefly noticed Sixer glare at her for that comment.

I wasn't sure what to do, watching her uncertainly for a moment. She seemed friendly enough...and surely just talking wouldn't hurt, right? But then again, Sixer- or Ford I suppose- did just shoot at me a second time for doing so...

Mabel seemed to notice my hesitation, giving me a reassuring smile.

"It's okay! He won't do it again! Will you, Grunkle Ford?" She half shouted that last part, looking back at him.

He grumbled something, looking away.

"Grunkle Ford!" She shouted again, tone disapproving.

Ford sighed and rolled his eyes, seemingly giving in.

"No, I won't."

"Good! Now give the gun to Dipper!" Mabel crossed her arms as she spoke.

"What?! Why?!" Both Sixer and Dipper shouted at the same time, looking bewildered.

"Because I trust Dipper not to shoot at him every time he speaks! But I know he'll do it if he thinks its the right thing to do!" Her voice held a note of finality to it, and though I was still afraid, something about it calmed me.

Ford groaned in annoyance before reluctantly handing the gun to Dipper, who held it with his finger off the trigger, watching Mabel worriedly.

She gave him a thumbs up.

"Thanks bro-bro!"

He rolled his eyes, grinning slightly as she turned back to me.

Seeing these two interact together was much different from the Gleefuls...

"So, what's your name?" She asked cheerily, smiling at me once again.

I blinked and looked over at her.

"Wh-What...?" I stuttered quietly, having zoned out for the moment.

"I mean, you don't have to tell me! But I'd like to know your name!"

I paused, hesitating for a moment. Gripping Bill's statue a bit tighter I took another breath before answering her,

"W-William. William C-Cipher...b-but you c-can c-call me Will...i-if you w-want..."

Her smile only seemed to grow brighter at that.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Sir Will!" She bowed as best she could while sitting as she giggled out her response, before straightening up again.

But the next words she spoke, shocked me to my core.

"I hope we can be friends!"
