•Chapter 3•

"Mmmm." Your eyes crack open and staring at you is a concerned guy. "AH!" You swing your arms up and nail him right on top of his head.

"Oweeee!" He falls back and you sit up peering over the side of the bed. He lies sprawled on the floor, a huge knot on the top of his head. You blink and his foot twitches as he sits up. "WHO TAUGHT YOU HOW TO HIT?!" He barks rubbing his head as he leans forward. "What are you..."

"She is a normal girl." Someone calls tossing the guy into the wall. "Leave her alone Rin."

"Obviously she isn't normal if Satan is after her!" Rin retorts as everything becomes clear.

"Exorcists." You state and they look at you. "That's what you guys are right?" They both nod and you sit up. "What happened?"

"Either lack of sleep, or not eating enough." Yukio says and Rin pops in. "Or both!" Yukio sighs and pushes Rin out the door. "Go get the food."

"I am kinda hungry..." You nod and your stomach makes a dying whale noise. You cover it up and blush as he smiles.

"I realize it must also have been due to stress." He adds on as he sets down a tray with tea. "Here you are Y/N."

"Thank you." You mumble and takes the cup as he hands it to you. You stare at him as you take a sip. His eyes, a beautiful blue and you narrow your gaze as he walks to the window.

"You are under our protection now Y/N." He says over his shoulder and you fall forward and cough.

"What?!" You shout and he nods turning to look you dead in the eyes.

"You are under the protection of my class and myself. Satan is after you, and we are after him. Therefore, you are a direct target and we must protect you."

"Sounds more like you are using me as bait." You grumble as he chuckles and sits in a chair. You feel a twinge in your shoulder as you hiss in pain. "What the hell?!"

"Oh, I had to cut something out." He says plainly and you turn to him eyes wide as he reaches for a clear sealed container. "This little guy had attached himself to you."

You lean forward and stare at it as it seems to bang on the glass. A little thing, almost the size of a tick. It stares at you from inside and screams louder. "Feisty isn't he?" He whispers as Rin steps inside with a tray filled with food.

"Whoa!" You shout as he sets it down and you thank him for the food and pick up a spoon. You immediately dig in and moan happily as you chew.

"Not very lady like is she?" Rin whispers and Yukio whacks his head as you smile. "Did you tell her the news?"

"Yes." Yukio says as they watch you eat and you slowly stop looking up at them. "It all depends on if she accepts it."

"Axwept hwat?" You say mouth full of food as Rin grimaces as you swallow your food.

"Accept our protection of course." Yukio says unfazed as you look between the two of them.

"How would that work exactly?" You ask and Yukio smiles and takes a sip of his tea.

"You will have an exorcist with you at all times." He says plainly and you nod slowly and push the tray away.

"I'll do it." You say and glare at them. "I want to know why I'm being hunted." Yukio stares at you intensely as you clench your fists. "Where am I?"

"Oh you're in our room." Rin says and you let out a yelp as you raise your goat and slam both of them into the ground. You stand on the bed glaring at their quivering bodies.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" You shout and jump down as you walk around their bodies. "I'll accept your protection, but don't EVER do this again!!!" You shout as you slam the door shut and turn to see Shima standing there.

"That was bad ass!" He squeals as he goes to hug you and he is yanked back. Kamaki stands there and she tosses him onto the ground like trash.

"Such strange teenage boys." She grumbles as she looks at you. "Y/N, you are coming with us." Moriyama peeks out from behind her, she has a bright smile as you follow them. "Geez he pisses me off."

"I can tell..." you whisper as you follow them a little ways and into a nice room. Your suitcases and such are stacked in one side of the room as you walk towards your stuff.

"Welcome home!" Moriyama cheers as she claps her hands and hands you a cupcake.

"She's been waiting to tell you that." Kamaki says as she plops down onto her bed and shrugs.

After Moriyama helps you unpack, you sit down as they both explain what the program is. After a long talk, they went to sleep, but you lie in your bed staring at the roof. You heart bangs in your chest and you touch your shoulder lightly as you suck in a breath.

What's going on? Why is he after me? I don't understand anything that's going on... why can't my life be normal, just like it used to? When I went to my old high school, and when to the arcade with my friends. The time when everyone just kinda stood there, and we all had pointless talks.

Tears begin to form as you let out a soft cry and then muffling it into your pillow. Your chest tightens as you heave in and out. Everything is happening to fast, and soon you find yourself fast asleep. Your face tear streaked as your dreams take control.

"Mom I'm fine." You whisper as she cleans your hand and an old man cleans the little boy's head.

"I told you to stay put look what happened when you didn't listen!" She hisses and you look to the little boy. He is kicking his legs as he hums softly.

"He seems fine to me." You mumble and she sighs as you narrow your eyes. "Or maybe he's crazy."

"Y/N!" She shouts and the old man laughs as he lets the boy stand. "I'm so sorry! How much do I owe you?"

"Nonsense, nothing, you owe me nothing." He smiles as you as you lean back. "Kids play and get hurt, it's life." He has a wrinkly smile as you nod and your mom sets you down.

"Go apologize." She ushers you forward and you step towards the boy.

"I'm sorry." You mumble staring at your feet and he shrugs as he stares at his feet.

" it's fine." He grumbles and you look up to meet his big blue eyes. "Well... bye." He takes off down the hall and the other boy bows and follows after him.

"Lets go Y/N." Your mom says and you follow after her, the short meeting nothing to remember.
