I step out of my car and as my feet hit the gravel the smell of freshly cut grass shot up my nose (like cocaine) making me sigh in bliss.

i start walking up the trail, i look over to my right to see the sun just barely starting to set. I get lost in the beauty of the sky until i realize i'm almost to the top of the mountain.
I see daniel and instantly get a huge smile on my face, he looked absolutely breathtaking and he didn't even have to try.
I walk up to where he was and slowly am able to see more and more decorations as i get closer.
I finally get a clear view of everything and am taken aback by the beauty of it all.
there was a fluffy white blanket covered in red and pink hearts, varieties of different mouthwatering foods, l.e.d. fairy lights, and a few fake, but beautiful candles. My eyes skim through everything until the land on daniel, he smiles a toothy little smile and motions me over towards him.
"Joesph, you look incredible" daniel says as i walk closer, his words making my cheeks flush.
"Come sit" he says patting the blanket next to him.
"You did all this?" i question looking around once again.
"For you." he responded looking over at me with a small smile on his lips.
"Why?" i question.
"Because, you're incredible and deserve a night as perfect as you." he says softly taking my hand in his.
We lean in, closing our eyes, and our lips collide. It felt like our first kiss all over again, butterflies abrupt in my stomach and it felt like fireworks were going off above us.
He slowly placed his arms around my waist, me snaking mine around his neck.
We pull away gasping for air, our eyes slowly open and we stare into each other's orbs.
"I love you Joseph" he says out of the blue.
"I-I love you too Daniel." i said sincerely.
He softly smiled and caressed my cheek.
"I know i say it a lot but, god joey you're so perfect. Every inch of your body is, perfection." he says staring into my eyes.
I smile and hug him, he gladly takes the embrace and hugs back almost immediately.
I look over at the sunset that was now beautifully and perfectly along the horizon.
"Danny!" i say pulling away from the much needed hug.
"Yes dearium?" (i had to) he says in a slightly higher pitched voice, causingp me to giggle before continuing.
"Look!" i say pointing towards the breathtaking sunset.
"Wow" he says in awe.

We both sit there, me on his lap cuddling him until Daniel breaks the silence.
"Hungry?" he asks, me lifting my head of his chest.
"Very!" i say, tiredness lacing my voice
He takes a plate of chocolate covered strawberries, a plate of sandwiches, and a plate of assorted fruits and put some of everything onto a plate for me, i immediately dig in and here a "pop" noise.
"Champaign?" Daniel offers pouring the rich liquid into two glasses.
"Yes please!" i say delighted.
He hands me a cup and i place the cup to my lips, it hits my tastebuds, making me cringe slightly, but i quickly get used to the taste and down the rest of my glass.

Daniel was going to be the designated driver so he didn't drink much, but me on the other hand, i was a drunken mess.
I get into his car, him promising we can come back and get mine tomorrow.
My hand slowly creeps up daniels thigh as his teeth slightly clench, him trying not to say anything.

The night went on, me teasing daniel, daniel getting frustrated, and repeat.

I cant honestly sit here and tell you there wasn't a point when things "went down" that night. Let's just say, a lot of unforgettable things happened that night.

But most importantly. i realized who i don't just want but need

I need Daniel Christopher Preda.
