Why me? // m.g.c

chapter two

My flatmate must be wondering what the hell happened to me as he was pacing up and down the living room whilst flailing his arms about, oops?

"Ash? What are you doing? It's like 3 am." I asked making him jump in the process.

"OMG! Ariana where the hell have you been? Do you know how freaking worried I've been? What if someone took you? What if you were killed?!" Ashton says worry and fear filling his entire face.

"Ash calm (*coughs* Calum) down! I'm here, now aren't I?" I say trying to reassure him. He just looked at me as if to say 'did you just fucking say that?'.

"What the hell were you even doing wandering about at night??" Ash asks flailing his arms around dramatically. I'd say he was overreacting, but I'd probably do the same thing if I found out my bestfriend was walking around on their own in the dark at midnight.

"Look, Ashton I just went for a quick walk to clear my head!" I said. Pfft I'm not completely lying! I did leave, because I couldn't sleep!

"Ok, ok whatever your back now. I swear to god if you ever do that to me again I'll lock you in a cupboard or something! I was so worried!" Ashton says whilst sighing.

"Look I'm sorry for not saying where I was going Ash, I didn't mean to make you worried" I reply whilst looking towards the ground.

"It's alright just come here and give me a hug you idiot!" He says whilst crushing me with his arms.

"Ash, you're crushing me" I say chuckling at him.

"Oh, right, sorry" He giggled. (THE GIGGLE I CANNOT)

"Alright, I'm gonna head off to bed seen as it's like 2 am. Night Ash!" I say to him and wander off to my room. Finding my bed, I collapse onto it and drift off to sleep trying my best to forget about what the fuck just happened in that forest. Who knew they were real, right?

Kind of a short chapter, but I thought it was a good place to the end there. Thanks for reading and I hope you're enjoying the book so far.
