Ashley's POV:

As soon as school finished, I was bombarded with demands and orders. When would this stop?!

'Hey Fatty, I have an assignment due tomorrow, I'll be ready to pick it up at 7pm.'

'Chubster, my maths homework is supposed to be finished for tomorrow, it's on algebra – leave it on my desk for first period.'

'Ugly, I need a music track recorded for tomorrow, save it on this USB and give it to me during lunch break tomorrow.'

'Roberts, I need an essay written up on Macbeth by next week, I expect it to be done on time.'

By this point, I felt like pulling my hair out; when would these people learn to do their own work?!

---------

RING! RING! RING!

I opened my sleepy eyes and stared at my vibrating phone, the time read 4am. Who the hell would be calling at a time like this?

'Hello?'

'Is this Ashley Roberts?'

'Uhhh...depends on who's asking.'

'Oh, right, this is Haley Mitchell. I'm a coach for one of the fitness clubs at Colbeck. Mr Lucas Krolewski talked to me this afternoon and said you were wondering what times the club was on.'

I held back a groan at the mention of Lucas and decided to play along.

'Ah, yes. I was worried he hadn't talked to you yet...so when does training start?'

I grinned when "Haley" stumbled on her words; what kind of actor was she?

'Of course! Of course! Well...ummm...it starts tomorrow from 6am to 8am. Will you be able to make it?'

Now she sounded eager, probably thinking up a wonderful prank to pull on me tomorrow. I didn't think so, bitch.

'Maybe some other day, I have a lot of work to do.'

'Oh no, sweetie,' Sweetie. Really? Wow, she really was desperate. 'You absolutely have to come! We're going to have a special welcome party, just for you.'

'Well, I guess I can make it.' No way in hell am I going to fitness club now.

She laughed, and spoke, 'Fantastic! See you tomorrow!'

'Yeah, yeah, bye now.'

I hung up. I couldn't believe that girl thought I had bought that shit.

Looking at the time, I knew I would never fall back to sleep, so I decided to get dressed and ready for school. (A/N: Yes, she was getting ready for school at around 4am, deal with it.)

---------

As I headed towards my locker, I noticed something rather tall, blocking my path. I sighed; of course he couldn't leave me alone for even a minute.

'What do you want now, Lucas?'

'Oh, nothing, just wondering why you couldn't make it to fitness club today. Haley said you were coming.' He said, smiling, in what he assumed was sweet, when in reality, looked rather sinister.

I chose to play dumb – less questions to answer.

'Huh? Fitness club? I had no idea our school even had a fitness club! Who's in it?' I asked, batting my eyelashes.

He looked shocked for a minute, but covered it up quickly. Smiling...softly? Yeah right. He opened his mouth and spoke: 'Oh, sorry, wrong person.'

'No worries.' My smile wavered as I remembered something. Oops.

He frowned, 'What's wrong?'

Shit.

'Uhhh, nothing, I just remembered something. Everything's fine.'

'No, it's not.' He walked up to me, trying to be intimidating, but failing miserably.

'What did you remember?' Hmmm, I don't know, maybe you forgot to insult me today which means you're planning something? That's what I wanted to say, but instead, the only words that left my mouth were, 'I forgot my maths books.'

Obviously his response was: 'Huh, too bad, see you later, fat loser!'

---------

"'See you later, fat loser!'" As I walked to one of the local cafes, these words kept replaying in my head and I had to fight back tears. I knew I was pathetic, letting the bullying get to me, but I couldn't help it, after all, everyone was right. I was just a fat, ugly, nerd that no one liked and I needed to get used to all the insults, because nothing was going to change. This was my life until the end of high school. What fun.

A/N: Hey guys! :D I know this chapter is short, but over time, they should (hopefully) grow longer. Anyway, thank you all for reading, I'll probably update tomorrow or later tonight.
