Chase's POV:

'Chasey, Boss is looking for you.'

I lifted a pillow and covered my ears.

'Shut up Ace! I'm trying to get some fucking sleep.'

I groaned when I heard his muffled laugh. Now I wasn't going to have any rest at all.

'Dude, I'm serious, I think you have another assignment...'

'The hell? I just got back from an assignment.' I yelled.

'Yeah, I know. But you should check, just in case.'

I rolled over and sighed. 'Fine.'

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Chase, come in, come in.'
I walked to the desk. 'You wanted to speak to me sir?'
'Yes, yes. There is a young boy who goes by the name of Lucas Krolewski. He's the son of Matthew Krolewski, owner of Krolewski Business and Co. I need you to assassinate the boy.'
I gulped. Adults were so much easier to kill than teenagers. Less fuss with the police.
'Do you mean to say, sir, that I have to go undercover at a high school?! I haven't set foot in a school since I was 11! What will I tell teachers? And other students? I absolutely cannot socialize with other people my age! I'm hopeless. Perhaps you should ask Ace to do this one.'
He chuckled. 'I'm already bringing Ace along, he's going to be you're body guard and supervisor.' I groaned...again. 'And as for you're lack of socializing skills...you can just appear as a "bad boy". A loner; it will save you the trouble of talking to any one and will be a reasonable explanation as to why you are illiterate.'
I mulled over his words. The idea didn't sound too bad...
'Will Ace be posing as a student as well?'
'Yes. I'm assuming you will accept the assignment?'
I nodded.
'Good. In that case, you better start packing, you start tomorrow.'
I widened my eyes and was about to protest when the boss pushed me out of his office.
'Go, child and kill some one. I will be waiting for the token.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ace and I stood before the school gate; it read "Colbeck High School". Then we looked at each other before we simultaneously groaned.

'Dude, how are we going to fucking survive this school?' He asked, eyes wide with disbelief.

'Don't ask me, man, I haven't been in school since 5th grade.'

Slowly, we walked up to the main office where a *cough* fat *cough* lady sat at the registration.

'Hello dears, how can I help you today?' She asked in a very, very, very high pitched voice.

I looked at Ace. He looked at me. None of us spoke.

I glared. He glared...then I won.

'Well, I'm Ace, and this is Chase. We're new here.'

The lady looked at us carefully. 'Oh! Yes, you are. Well, here are you're timetables, I'll just go fetch someone to help show you around.'

Ace was about to tell her that we already knew the whole area, before I nudged him.

'Dude, we're supposed to be completely confused. Don't blow our cover.' I muttered.

He looked at me and mouthed a very sarcastic "Sorry".

After what felt like years of waiting, the lady brought in a girl wearing thick black glasses, an over sized sweater and leggings. She looked down at her feet.

'Well boys, this here is Ashley, I check your timetables and noticed that she was in your first class, so she may show you around the school.'

Finally, the girl looked up, shock evident in her eyes.

'But Miss Calwind, that means I'll be late to Maths!'

Huh. Of course, she was only worried about getting to class on time, what a typical nerd.

Miss...Calwind smiled and handed the girl; Ashley, three blue slips.

'Don't worry Ash, just gives these to Mr Lonas, and you'll be fine.'

Ashley let out a sigh of relief. 'Thanks Miss.'

Then she looked at us and motioned for us to follow her. I steeled myself for a tour of corridors, this was going to be fun. (Please note my sarcasm)

'Come with me, I'm sure you don't want to see all the classrooms, so we can go to the cafeteria first, then the oval. After that, we'll probably just head to maths, unless you guys are going to skip?' She raised an eyebrow.

I was baffled. How did she know?

'Are you...uh...psychic by any chance?' Ace asked.

She laughed, hazel eyes twinkling with amusement. 'No, you just look like the kind of guys who would.'

'And you look like the kind of girl who gets bullied for being on time to every class.' I snapped before I could stop myself.

Instantly, her smile disappeared. She started walking away, muttering something that sounded a lot like; 'You got the bullying part right.'

 I'd like to say I felt a twinge of regret...but then I'd be lying.

Ace looked at me and gave me a thumbs up. I smirked. Maybe this assignment wouldn't be too bad after all.
