The village was now in eyesight and Luffy couldn't wait any longer so he ran up to the light and saw just a normal village. Playing children, a noisy market, etc. But there was one thing different: Everyone had crimson red eyes!
"So... so... so COOL!!! Everyone has red eyes!!!" Luffy yelled with sparkly eyes.
"Yeah well, it's extremely common on this island." Amie told him, smiling at his reaction.
"Really?! How come?" Chopper asked. As a doctor, he knew that this wasn't normal at all. Amie just shrugged.
"Who knows. Maybe a big infection from the past." Amie answered.
Then two little boys, probably twins, noticed Amie and ran up to her.
"BIG SIIIIIS!!" They yelled when they almost glomped her to the ground. Amie laughed.
"Ame, Yuki, what have you two been up to this time."
"Yuki was stupid! He bet all his money this morning when someone said that he couldn't lift 25 kilos. He took the bet and lost. Then they made another bet: If Yuki could find someone who could lift 100 kilo's, he would get his and that boys money. If not I must give him MY money!" The boy, apparently Ame, explained. Amie sighed.
"And now you want me to lift the 100 kilos." Amie presumed.
"...Yes..." Yuki said, embarrassed that he made the bet anyway.
"When and where." Amie asked and they both cheered up.
"At the big oak in an hour. Thanks, big sis! you're the best!" Yuki replied and both boys ran away laughing. Amie shook her head.
"What are those two going to do without me." She said to herself.
"Well, other than the village there isn't much else. I've got to go now, It could've taken those two almost the whole hour to find me." Amie said and left.
"Wait! How long does it take for the log post to adjust?" Nami yelled.
"Like 6-7 days." Amie replied and disappeared into the forest.
"She's really nice." Chopper said.
"Can we see her again?" He asked Robin.
"Probably. We have a week here." She replied.
"Yay!" Chopper shouted and jumped, Robin couldn't help but smile at this. They went shopping and the rest of the day was spent on the ship. In the evening, by the time went to bed, Usopp finally got the courage to ask Zoro about this Amie from his dreams.
