"We don't send you to LA to have fun. You should've learned from your mistakes because so did we."
"So you're not changing your choice" I said with sadness in my voice.
"No I'm sorry. We're already excited to see you again."
"Yeah I should hang up now Grace is calling me" I was lying but she doesn't had to know that.
I hung up the phone before she could say anything and throw myself into my bed.
Literally the day couldn't get any worser. Right after I said that Chris texted me. Great!
'Happy birthday love, I hope to see you today else I'm going to hurt your little friend Grayson again."
Wow seriously great. He was threatening me I could've not answered him back but I knew Chris would do what he said once. So I texted him back since everything was going down today.
'No need for threats where and when do we meet?'
Chris texted me back right after that.
'That's the Alissa I know. I knew you'd calm down sooner or later. How about tonight a little talk on the beach? I'll text you the time later.'
I didn't replied to that and buried my head into my pillow.
Someone knocked on my door and suddenly entered.
"What's wrong birthday girl?" Ethan asked now sitting on my bed.
"I don't want to talk."
"Come on Alissa you can tell me everything, you know that."
I turned to Ethan sitting also next to him now.
"I'm leaving in a week."
"What? What do you mean you're leaving?"
"My mom just called me and she booked me a flight back to Virginia. She told me that I have a week left in LA."
Ethan don't said anything and hugged me.
"We can talk about that tomorrow. I don't want you to ruin your own birthday because of that" he said.
"Thank you for everything Ethan, you're a great friend."
"Stop saying that you're not leaving yet" Ethan said wiping away the tears of my cheeks.
"And please don't cry I'm very emotional" he added what made me laugh.
An hour later Ethan left so I talked with Grace about the call.
"Your mom is so stubborn."
"Sadly she is."
"Maybe I can persuade her. I don't want you to leave so soon" she said.
"I don't want to leave either."
The day passed and it was time to get ready for my birthday dinner.
I took a shower and later did my makeup. I got into the dress Ethan and I brought yesterday and combined it with my heels.
