Mingyu, Seokmin and Minghao spent a lot of time, teaching me choreography and helping me adjust to the fast transition between the steps.

It was a little frustrating because I watched them do the steps perfectly while I was struggling. But after awhile, I got a hang of it. I still stumbled over my feet here and there but other than that, I was fine.

"Don't think of the steps, go through with the music."

And that's what I did. I didn't think of what came next, I thought of enjoying myself. Which I did.

We had several laughs here and there when I made mistakes, which they quickly corrected afterwards.

I really appreciated how they were so determined for me to perfect the choreography although I wanted to give up on myself.

"Then five..six.. kick." Minghao says, falling into the next step quickly. An impressed, "Woah." escaped my lips as I watched.

He chuckles, gesturing for me to attempt it. Which I did.

I tried over and over and over again. I tried to simplify how they explained things, into my own terms. This method helped quite a lot, which I was thankful for.

"Woah.. She's learning fast." Hansol comments as he puts down his water bottle. The boys nod, giving me a smile.

"Let's go over it again." Seungcheol says as he steps into the room after answering a call from Manager-nim.

We fall into our positions quickly, as if we were part of the army. Then the music began playing.

We started dancing along to the beat, I tried my best to follow through. But I couldn't help but make a few mistakes, getting shouldered by some of the boys.

Soon, it was the end of practice. "You guys go ahead.. I'll just call Joshua Oppa when to pick me up." I suggested, giving them a smile.

After awhile of trying to persuade them, they left. And there I was, alone in the practice room with the music.

I went over to my phone, pressing play before beginning to dance.

// Seungcheol's POV //

"Hyung, do you mind picking up Jisu for me? I have to go run some errands for the dorm."

Why did she want to stay behind anyway? It's not like she'll actually practice. She seems like the kind of give up almost instantly.

Maybe she stayed behind to clear her mind. But then again, what could she be doing.

I entered the building and made my way to the room, hearing the music we practiced earlier being played.

I looked in through the glass in the door, seeing Jisu as she struggled to catch her breath as she leaned against the wall, looking at herself in the mirror.

She looked as if she had just finished running for three hours nonstop. Her cheeks were tinted red although there was no sign of sweat on her clothes and hair.

Her hair was now in tight bun and she had taken off the jacket she had worn earlier, her faint bruises on full display.

To my shock, she falls to the ground, hugging her knees close to her body as she begins to bawl her eyes out.

With a sigh, I throw my ego out the window and I step into the room silently.

"Shh.. Shh.. You're doing fine." I said as I began to walk towards her. But that wasn't enough to console her.

Be a man, Seungcheol.

I squat down, bringing her closer to me as I bring her into my arms, placing my chin on her head.

"I've been a little too harsh on you, Jisu.. Oppa is sorry." I whisper, beginning to pat her back as I pulled away so our eyes met.

Her usual brightly lit orbs were now red and you could see that her cheeks were tear-stained. This wasn't the first time that she cried this hard when we were away.

My eyes lowered themselves to her lips, and I found myself fighting the urge to kiss her.

I let out a sigh, stroking her cheek lightly with my thumb before bringing her back into my arms.

Lee Jisu.. What are you doing to me?
